AshervilleNC,
Absolutely indespensible
Color Slurp has proven to be an absolutely indespenisble tool as a graphic designer. My favorite part is how quickly and easily this lets me use colors from one color space in another. As a freelance designer, I get all sorts of files from my clients, oftentimes inconsistent with one another. Thanks to Color Slurp it's now a breeze to pick CMYK colors from InDesign and use them as RGB colors over in Illustrator. I can even easily convert my brand colors to the weird colorspace Squarespace uses without having to Google a random website to help me out!

I also really love how if you have it on one device, you're able to sync it through iCloud with all your others. I can create custom palettes on my computer and use them immediately over in a procreate file. The camera color selection tool is a really neat and useful addition as well– my favorite palette comes from a sunflower I saw while I was out walking!

All in all, if you do design or artistic work of any kind, I highly recommend this app on all your devices, and I recommend buying the pro version to unlock all the extremly useful features it has!
mrapogee,
Prety great tool
This product is very cool, very intuitive and well designed. Note if you're having trouble getting this to work with full screen apps you need te enable "Show App Icon In": "Menu Bar Only" under the general settings tab.

Would love to see this product just appear as "menu-bar window" always linked to the top of the screen like the "Color Note" app instead of a window you can drag around and have to click the close button on to dismiss, as that seems a little easier to use.

The app also makes a "Slurp" sound when you select color.. which is hilarious... but a little wierd. Luckily you can turn it off if you don't want to scare your co-workers.

Indispensable!
This is the best color picker and color blender in the market! This app is incredibly well crafted and the fact that you can create and save many different collections makes it indispensable for designers, photographers, app developers, you name it. You can also use the palette and blend colors until you find the perfect combination. Never seen anything like this. It's now one of my favorite apps. Just get the full app with in-app purchase, you won't regret it. I had an issue with the store and the developer replied right away and helped solve the issue. Very nice guy. Excellent support.

Latest Update is Broken
If you try to do anything screen-related, like move the windows, take screenshots, etc. the icons will disappear. No matter what you do, short of a reboot, do not get them ro reappear. Also took away the single menubar click to open. Now shows a menu so there is an annoying 2-step open process. How about leaving the behavior and add a right-click or CTRL-click to open the menu? A nice simple program is trending downward because the developer is trying to sell you something. Unfortunately, I don't pay for annoying software. Go back to simple and then I can be convinced to pay for a "Pro" version to support development.

Best Color Grabber!
To be honest I thought I was gonna have to search for hours trying to find the right app because the one in mac's utilities wasn't quite right, but after just a few minutes of searching, this app popped up and I thought it was too good to be true from all of it's ratings, but after using the app, I knew all those ratings told the truth because, in my opinion, this app is the best color picker that i've ever seen!
Maguskoopa,
Great app, weird slurping noise
This is a minimalist app that basically does what I needed it to do – extract colors from anywhere on my screen and tell me the hexcode. It's a good free app if you're looking for something simple that will do the job. It even has a keyboard shortcut that you can use to bring it up without opening it on the dock.

My only misgiving is that when you pick a color, it makes a weird slurping noise by default. It is very unsettling while wearing headphones, and it's hard to figure out where the noise is coming from sometimes. Fortunately, you can turn it off.
sneezing_face,
AWSOME APP
Not gonna lie, the slurp sound is a little disturbing haha But you can turn it off. But this app is amazing. Before this app I wen't though a lot just to get a hex value from anywhere on my screen. The tools I use specifically don't allow me to get the color I need out side the app. I use to have pull up the built-in digital color meter, copy/paste the rgb values, open up a browser that converts rgb to hex then copy/paste that value into the editor. Now all I do is just point and click!
Uli Troyo,
Great app for... color enthusiasts?
If you're either a designer or a nerd who likes to know what is the HSB value of a specific color on your screen, this is the app for you. It even makes a slurping sound when you pick a color! That's cohesive app theming right there. It lives in the top bar, out of the way until you need it. I wish more apps were this unobtrusive and apt.

Fantastic color tool
ColorSlurp has been a fixture in my Mac menu bar since I found it. It's a fast, thoughtfully designed, high quality app, easily worth the pro unlock. As a developer who works across different languages and toolkits, I appreciated the range of paste formats it had right out of the box. It has a clean and tasteful UI and a good set of configurable preferences. Just a great, focused app.
BlondeFurious,
Nice little app, with valuable features
As a UI/UX Consultant I have a need for sampling colors quickly and unobtrusively quite often. Inspiration can come from many sources, so being able to grab a color, build a collection, and check for accessibility compliance on the fly is quite valuable in my daily workflow. Colorslurp does a brilliantly delivers tools for these needs.
