Great content, wish it was on a better platform
There are some classes of great quality on here, but Coloso is hardly useable. I’ve reset and reinstalled multiple times and can’t even get the app to load without crashing. The video web browser also frequently crashes. It can’t be an issue of my devices, as I have a new iPhone and good PC. It’s extremely distracting and greatly takes away from the learner experience, which is especially infuriating if you spent $100+ on a course. Disservice to the experts giving their time to make these classes.

Barely usable
While the video player itself have a lot of capabilities I appreciate, such as adding bookmarks and naming them, and continuing when I last picked off, the app is missing some core features. It would be nice if it can be casted to chromecast or Apple TV so that when you are on the computer there’s a larger screen to watch that’s not a phone. Other useful feature would be note-taking inside the app, considering this is used for learning.
One area I’m actually surprised is the lack of a forum to communicate with the teacher or other students of the course.
Lastly the ui is a little confusing on the video player itself, the icons is not very self explanatory, and some things is misleading (ie: closed caption only have the option of disabled), and to another reviewer’s note, it IS very annoying to be logged out after a day!

Subtitle not Functioning!!!! Please fix it
I have tried to have the class on Mac, windows and on iPad. Firstly, windows works the best. Once you launch the class on the website, you don’t need to go to any third party app in order to start tye lesson. On Mac, on the other hand, requires coloso’s application and you HAVE to use the app in order to watch the lesson’s video, which causes a lot of inconvenience. And this app’s UI design is user unfriendly. You just have to load a while I’m order to move forward to the next session.
For iPad, subtitles do not show on the display at all!!! I mean, at least fix this bug. Most of the customers are usually English speaking people. Without the subtitle, we can’t understand the class and we won’t any more product from your company since we don’t know what the class’s content is. Please fix this bug. I will be greatly appreciated if you do so.

Honest thoughts
I was looking forward to learn… Buying this course wasn’t cheap and I am very disappointed that the subtitles do not work at all. I sadly do not speak the language and there’s no English subtitles. I tried reinstalling multiple times still doesn’t work. It doesn’t crash on me but I don’t understand anything. I tried following along even thou I don’t understand and it’s just not working I am very disappointed. Some people got the subtitles to work they are lucky ik it has valuable information but i don’t know what he is saying. If you are going to buy this course pray that your subtitles work and pray that it doesn’t crash on you.

Needs an update
I like that I can watch videos on a dedicated app however, there is still room for improvement.
Why does Coloso sign me out after a while? This is only app I know of that does that. It’s not like a Coloso contains sensitive information. The video quality could also use improvements as it does not look like it was formatted correctly for smartphones.

I am updating this review because support has gotten back to me with a solution to the subtitle issue, which was my main concern when using this app. As it turns out, there is a setting that you can try to use if the default setting prevent subtitles from appearing:
Settings > Use Built-in IOS Player

I’m quite disappointed with this app
It’s infuriating to buy a course you only have a 100 days to watch and waste time trying to make the app work. It crashes, subtitles aren’t showing and it doesn’t even have a search bar, which to me is the most basic thing and it would help the user browse through the courses much better. I’m overall very upset right now!

Subtitles not work
I extremely appreciate to have Coloso courses, as they are really useful contents. The only problem about the app. As everyone has mentioned, the subtitles are not working. It seems that the developer has been working on that for months (but still not work).
I hope the the app developer can tackle this issue.

Subtitle Issue
The classes themselves are incredibly useful and well made, but I can only view them at home on my PC due to the Coloso app not displaying the subtitles. The class I purchased is presented in Korean which means without subtitles I'm unfortunately unable to view it outside of my limited hours at home. I hope this issue is resolved because I really enjoy the content Coloso offers and would like to enjoy it on the go.

EDIT: Subtitles work!!
The subtitles will work if you go to ⭐️Settings -> Use Built-In IOS Player It also makes the video clearer when in vertical mode!
