Description

Have you ever wanted to build a gaming PC but didn't want to go through the hassle of buying components and unpacking boxes? Wouldn't the whole process be easier if you could just select your parts from a table and slot them into place with few taps? No, I'm not talking about using a custom pre-built service. The answer is PC Building Simulator, available now for download on App Store!!

The purpose of this game is to try to teach people about building PCs while still having fun. All the components have realistic look and placement!

If you’ve never built a PC but have wondered about the magical parts you can see through the perspex window your PC mystifyingly came with, this’ll help explain. Maybe it’ll give you confidence to build a real PC!

Sam,theguywhogotthisapp,
Ok, but not the best
I wish that this app included more things than what it had, like the different connections needed to put in for the motherboard, and deciding if you want an air or liquid cooler, small things like that. I don't recommend this for anyone who's a pro at putting computers together, because it barely covers the basics. If you're a beginner, it might work for you though.
Instagrxms,
Could be better
I think the programming is very good, but it is hard to drag the parts to where you want them to go. In order to drag it a certain way, you need to continously adjust the camera a certain way. It is difficult and frustrating at times but I don’t mind it too much.

The app offers a “full version” which I assume is an ad-free version. I understand why the creator would implement this, but honestly this app is a one-and-done experience. There’s no point in paying for it. The ads aren’t irritating though, which is good. They are the typical full screen video advertisements and they appear every once in a while.

Overall, I’d rate this app a 3.5/5, but Apple only lets people rate with whole numbers. So, it’s closer to a 4 than a 3 in my opinion.
Snickledumper,
I like it but...
I like it but theres not really much you can do, it simply allows you to pick up a block or piece and slide it in. This does have the potential to be a great app. I personally would like to be able to select different types of GPUs, CPUs, motherboards and such alongside info if the pieces so that we could learn as we simulate he building experience. Maybe even different cases and watercooling to see how it can all fit. Player selected RGB light strips for customizations. I hope the creators see this review. I love this idea of this app and hope it happens. May redownload again if I see some added features. It’s a decent app, but it has the potential to be a great app. Godspeed creators and hope you add more.
Ahhhhyooooo,
ADD THIS STUFF PLLLEEEAASSEE
It’s an awesome app but I recommend to add a section we’re you can choose the parts, case, lights etc and built it and also i think it would be better if you can be able to click the part and click where you want it to go so you don’t have to keep moving the camera and stuff and one more thing, i don’t know if you guys can do this but try to make it we’re you can also have a monitor so people can not only build a pc but install like the windows 10 for example... Thanks!
ItzTobaggan,
It’s ok...
This game is pretty good, but it is fairly difficult trying to get certain parts where you want them to be. Also, people should be exposed to the names of the certain parts and newer more recent versions of the parts. For instance, I forgot what the graphics card was since it was wasn’t really modern.
perhapscam,
It’s fine for a one time thing but I’d opt for the real pc building simulator on steam
It’s fine and all, however, you can only build one pc... no unlockable parts, no customization, no nothing. I’m sure this wasn’t made by a studio though, so props to the whoever made this, its harder to make a quality game than it seems.
Superbob246,
Needs More Work...
I download the free version of the game and I was not impressed. The only thing you can do is place the parts in the pc. I suggest to the owners of this game that they would allow you to actually test out the pc and, put what ever parts you want such as a 5.0GHz thread riper, GTX 2080Ti and more. That’s why I gave this game a 2 star.
Ruckee,
Doesn’t accomplish its main goal
I’m no wiz at making games so first kudos to the creators of this game for going through that process. However this game sets out let you build a pc without the hassle of doing it irl so you can learn. The only problem is that it doesn’t teach you anything.

1. CPUs don’t come preinstalled
2. CPU Fan and Ram usually are installed outside the case, not inside.
3. Where is the io shield?
4. There are no names for any of these (kind of a nitpick but it would be nice for educational purposes)

This could be such an amazing app, just keep updating if it’s too much switch this app to a paid app (after significant changes are made!)
MrDravenX,
What A Joke
It’s bad enough to have ads on a weak sim but these lazy devs can’t even update the app to take advantage of newer iPhones screen sizes. If they expect anyone to pay to remove ads, it better be worth at least playing and with this sim, it’s not. Deleted after opening today. Too bad ZERO stars wasn’t possible because that’s what this should get.
PeanutBuder2020,
Not so good
I downloaded this game thinking it was going to be a fun computer building game, but it wasn’t. You load into the game and the quality is not that good, it does not really give you any instructions, and I could barely put any pieces together. If you are looking for a fun PC building game, this is definitely not it.
