The app doggy,
Marathon level estimation is very flawed.
My watch works and Coros tracks my runs perfectly, I have no complaints about the watch or the running logs.

But the marathon level estimation needs improvement, it's simply not looking at the most relevant data.
For example, for nearly 2 months now, my marathon level hasn't increased.
Lately I have been training with a lot less volume, so Coros mistakenly thinks my marathon level isn't increasing just because I'm running less miles per week. BUT, my running is better than ever, I run 2-3 times a week and my form and pace is better than ever, by far! So I'm not sure what data Coros is looking at, but it's not looking at what it should be.
Obviously your algorithms take volume way too seriously, come on, fix this... I know it's not gonna be perfect, but estimating my fitness level based off of volume of miles ran is incredibly ineffective and ignorant, I don't even create algorithms and I can tell yours is very poorly designed.

Terrible App
I like my Coros Apex watch, but this app is terrible. My main problem with the app is that it is impossible to visually track any longer term trends in regard to items such as resting heart rate, fitness level, VO2 max, sleep, and training load. It’s super helpful for any athlete to track this kind of data over 12 month, 6 month, 3 month, etc. timelines, but there is no way to do this within the Coros app. For example, I feel like I might be getting sick today, so I want to see if my resting heart rate is elevated in comparison to my normal levels. The only way to do this within the Coros app is to go back through every day over the last few weeks and write down the resting heart rate for that day by hand in order to plot my own graph. Coming from a Garmin, I could see a graph of my resting heart rate over the last 7 days from the watch without even using their app! Coros needs to get the software side of their business figured out before trying to push any more hardware out to the market. I’ve had my watch for about 2 months now, but I’m strongly considering returning it because the app is so bad.
runner@heart54,
Tough as nails!
I left Garmin for a solid reason: cheaply made running watch. I literally killed mine. It couldn’t take my strenuous fun outings. Even though I loved everything else about it, it was just too ridiculously cheaply made for the cost.
I needed a watch that could do multi sports, hike long days while backpacking, and still be wearable day to day!
I have truly enjoyed the long battery life, the band has been amazing & I have not had to replace it. This watch is full of data & keeps me always reaching for better.
I recommend Coros 100%!
matthius1,
Would you please make this app dump oxygen saturation to Apple Health
I appreciate the continuous improvements being made to this app. It’s getting better each time.

It’s occurred to me that I’m not able to easily log and track this useful datapoint that the device is already collecting. Given that the app can already write other information to Apple Health adding oxygen saturation doesn’t seem like it would be too difficult. Aside from its value in athletics, in these days of COVID-19, where pulse oximeters have flown off the shelves like TP, I suspect it would be a popular feature!
bry-s,
Awesome
Really enjoy all the features that the app has to offer. I came from using an Apple watch for years and the activity app from apple is really lacking compared to what you get from Coros. Seeing everything on one page after a run is amazing and so simple to share. I was able to share my data from a recent race with a running coach and she was asking which watch I had. Strength workouts and training plans from their athletes is another addition that I really like plus they listen to their consumers and make regular updates. Keep up the great work.

Terrible software
Came from Suunto and thought there’s no way that connectivity and software issues could be worse. I was wrong. The Aprx Pro itself is a great watch, but it continually fails to be recognized by the app and requires different combinations of unpairing/re-pairing, re-setting watch and phone, as well as placing the watch in a freezer(!?) to actually pull data from it. Once you do get that data, the app is very underdeveloped relative to competitors, which I hoped would change over time but 10 months after first using it, it’s still super janky. I guess this is the risk you take when you gamble on the sports watch start-up. Your money is better spent with whatever established brand you might prefer.
Ch.uck.C.,
Use phone as heads-up display for cycling?
Any chance you guys have thought about being able to broadcast live watch-metrics onto your smartphone, enabling it to function as a heads-up display? I think it’d be a great feature, specifically for cycling, which in my mind would work by piggybacking off of your watch, chest heart rate sensor, power meter, etc., and displaying those metrics in front of you on your smartphone. I understand bike computers already do that and more, but you guys might be able to garner some of their market share with this feature.
Mercrid,
Pace 2
It’s pretty great for running. A nice size, good battery life, and things seem accurate enough for me. It’s not good for biking, as most of the data and trends only apply from running efforts and don’t use bike efforts. Also, they’ve updated the sleep mode and it’s pretty terrible now. Sometimes it says I’ve only slept for 2 hours while it’s more like 7, or it thinks I’m still asleep after my mourning routine and driving to work. Could be better but gets the job done for the most part.
skicb,
Kicked out after update
The app worked okay pre-update. The fitness predictions are only based on running so if you primarily backcountry ski or MTB…or even trail run, most of the fitness predictions aren’t really relevant to you. Not that it matters I suppose. I’m not sure why it isn’t able to predict VO2 and workload from other activities. We’ve had the means to calculate them for years.

Anyway, after the update it kicked me out and now says I’m not registered to even reset my password. So…I guess I just can’t use it anymore. Hoping all my history isn’t lost in there.
Trevor W ultrarunner,
Keeps getting better!
Switched from Garmin to COROS for the price and the battery life. At first I missed the Garmin app but now the COROS app is on par. Each update improves statistics and capabilities. Transferring gps routes to the watch is easy. The new added fatigue and recovery time features are great. I love my COROS APEX, and recently had a defect in the screen. COROS customer service promptly responded to all my emails and questions and sent me a replacement watch. Great watch, great customer service, great app, great brand.
