Help take your child's counting skills to the next level with Count To 100!, a counting app with something every kid loves to press — elevator buttons! We've transformed the 100 chart, used in schools to help develop number sense and recognition, into an interactive version to help motivate and delight your child with a friendly voice, uplifting music, and those irresistible buttons that light up. The numbers are positioned in lines of 10s to give your child an understanding of how numbers relate to each other and how to simplify math problems. This helps your child to count in sequence from left to right. Mastering the number line and understanding the fluency of numbers will contribute to your child's success in math-related life skills such as counting money, telling time, and reading a thermometer.
OPTIONS
* Display buttons from 1-100 to break down learning goals into smaller steps.

Excellent Hundred Board App
Ridiculously simple concept and app-yet highly effective and useful.
On the face of it, this app seems to not have very much to it. Some reviewers state this and rate the app poorly because of this. Yes, this app has no bells. No whistles, no dancing elephants, no crazy cheers and praises, BUT it is still a highly effective teaching tool. It is simple, straightforward and focuses on a unique and specific task-counting to 100! It has several options for limiting the amount to count up to and for whether to count by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s or 10’s. The app says the number as it is touched. I have observed the children in my iPad classes coming back to this app again and again. The various classrooms I have taught in overt the years always have a 100 board in them. Excellent 100 board app
My 3 year old learned to count by 2s, 5s and 10s using this app. It's a straight forward 100s chart and the numbers light up when pressed. Parents can control how the child is counting (by 2s or 5s or whatever) in the settings. If the wrong button is pushed it doesn't light up. A really great app!

Great counting app
Simple concept, well made. Perfect tool to practice counting and explore number relationships. In settings there are lots of options for how to use the app. I set it up so that my youngest daughter can tap the numbers in any order to hear them named. It also offers tips for parents.

Count to 100 is a must have app for anyone with Childers that are struggling with early math skills. It is an digitized version of the classic 100 chart that is used in classrooms around the world. Don't miss out on this gem.

Not good
This is awful. Was not worth it. You just tap on the box and it display the number only. Not a challenge and not a teaching app. Don't waste your $1.99.

Do not buy until bugs fixed
I bought this for my little girl to help her be more familiar with counting and her use of numbers. After installing App and running, I saw there was no access to change counting structure as the home button was not working. Too bad, in theory it sounds good, I just doesn't work as promised,

Excellent math learning tool!
So thrilled to see an app of this caliber in the app store. This is the kind of app I think of when I see how far technology has come and how iPads are absolutely educational tools for many kids today, lucky kids! Great for both struggling math learners of any age, or young learners who don' t truly understand how numbers are related (i.e. kids who are simply memorizing their math facts) This goes beyond rote learning as it encourages exploration. This is not a math game, so if you are expecting to plunk it down in front of your child and have it do all the work, you probably won't be a fan-there are plenty of great apps for that, which we also enjoy, but there is a time and place for both. What this is, is a useful tool for practicing counting by 1s, 2s,5s and 10s. This is also a tool that you will want to have available to your child as he is doing his homework, or to use in the classroom when doing simple calculations. By having a visual grid of numbers available, a child can work on a word problem involving addition or subtraction by tapping on one of the numbers involved, and then either counting forward or backward to arrive at the answer- this is how we use it, and even my older son has used it for simple multiplication facts. When my 6 year old starts to whine during math homework I remember to open this app up for him and both of us are much happier for it. Just as he would use a number line or little plastic blocks to figure out an answer, he can manipulate the numbers on the grid in the Any Tap mode. FYI I initially wasn't sure how to access the settings and thought there was something wrong with the app. There isn't. There simply is a "lock" feature to keep a child from accidentally exiting the screen. I learned that to get to the home page/settings, just tap the home symbol once, and then quickly again. It needs two taps in a row to get into it. Then you can change the counting structure, sound effects etc.

Do not buy
Bought for my daughter who is in kindergarten to teach her to count to hundred. But you can't adjust sound shut voice off or music it only turns everything off great idea but poor execution.

Doesn't work. Press the numbers and nothing happens... Press the home button and nothing happens. Don't buy.
