Creatively Hack 1.1.13 + Redeem Codes

I can’t checkmate any images to use for projects or even my profile picture. Honestly it seems like almost every button I push on this app doesn’t work. Making it impossible to use. Great concept Not functional from my viewpoint. If you’re gonna launch an app I mean these are basic things to have functioning properly.

When I first saw this advertised I was very interested so I ventured to the app and even passed it on to a friend. We both created pages. In exploring further we discovered very inconvenienced things. First thing we did not see that we even follow each other on our pages. Secondly notifications alerts or indicators came up at all if there was any activity. Third a friend sent me DM and the inbox was blank. However if I were to send that person a message it pops up? At the risk of being too negative because as I said I do love the app’s concept it is awesome for artists and creatives if you will to shine and show their gifts and talents. It is an awesome space. I want to tell more people about it but with the “underdeveloped” to name only a few it is hard to want to pass it on. Please help. I want to really support this app!

It can be hard to find work as a creative, so I think this app is needed and could have the potential to really take off with some updates. It’s not a very intuitive app so I’m not really sure how to properly use it. Maybe there should be a tutorial? The main feed seems irrelevant as it showcases projects from other city’s and things that aren’t related to my skills. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to find opportunities in my city or other local artists to connect with. Not sure if there just aren’t enough people from Nashville using it? Also, there are some skills I couldn’t tag for my profile (like harpist and music instructor, but I could tag pianist and composer) so my profile feels limited. Again, love the idea but it needs some work.

I really love the idea behind this app. Love that I’ll be able to see what other artists around me are doing as well as learn from them with some of the “classes are offered”.

The reasons I am giving one star:
•The app is very limited to where you see content from as far as location. I have yet to see stuff from less populated areas.

•As an artist you like to showcase your best work but it’s hard to do that if you can select the best images to upload in the projects tab, I went through my entire album and the app seem to pick the most random photos to display and none of them were the good ones. (As a photographer this is really frustrating)

•The job section need some work which is also linked to the first problem. It’s only really displaying jobs in highly populated, art condensed areas. It should be accessible to those outside of those areas (pretty sure that’s majority of the population on this app)

I personally and going to take a break from this app and would love to come back to it once it’s all sorted out and working to its highest potential. We shall see when the next update is (1/7/21)

I was singing up with one email address but realized it was the incorrect one and now I can’t change it. That really frustrates me because all of my other info is correct and my email isn’t. Also, there is a typo in my email I guess from spell check and so now whenever I log in it’s telling me that my email or password is incorrect and now I have to remember they typo along with an email I don’t use that often. Other than that I seem to like it and think it is a really great idea and can’t wait to see where it leads to in future updates and things.

I was really excited to come across an ad for this app and what it was offering, but after signing up and attempting to use it regularly, I found myself struggling more and more to connect, share and explore. The editing on your own page is hard to navigate, and it seems to pick and choose when you can add details to posts. I also find it very difficult to find jobs supposedly posted. There is absolutely no access to any “smaller” cities, only NYC, LA and other CA cities. Expansion is the only way this app will work, and creating better algorithms for the ARTISTS and their exposure.

Love this app, awesome idea! However, as a musician I would like to have a feature included where I can upload audio clips or embed SoundCloud/Spotify links. While having videos is great and important, not all of my tracks have video and it takes up a lot of time to create videos to upload when I should be spending my time on commissions and collaborations (not to mention all the other things that have to be done to run a freelance composer business).

Great concept, but needs more work on the development side. It’s buggy on mobile devices and desktop in different areas.

Skill tags could be further defined but I greatly appreciate the targeted specificity here as I sometimes have to wear multiple hats for a project.

It’s great that I can show a project as a set, not just one photo. I like the idea of tagging others as well.

I like that this app specifically seems to provide reasonable remote options for jobs, as many creative contributions are done remotely (retouchers, copywriters, etc). I would like to see this area expand further, especially with Covid as this will become more popular now that people in more industries have seen just how capable they are at doing their part remotely.

I am not fully sold on this yet, but it looks promising and I look forward to seeing more developments and improvements from the Creatively team!

I love the idea of this program, however, I feel like there need to be many additions to its interface. It’s clearly made for artists by how the interface is designed. I would like to see a better way of ordering images. There needs to be auto-capitalization. I want to be able to see who follows me, not just who I follow. Finally, I would really like the ability to add my own skills since the list is so limited.

1) The app keeps crashing every time I try to scroll through the jobs section.
2) I think there could be better ways to showcase portfolios than only visuals since the app isn’t conductive to other forms of art besides visual mediums. A way to show case music or writing would be greatly appreciated.
3) This app seems like it is still in its infancy and needs a lot of work on the technical side, but I do want it to improve.
