Description
Cronk is a cave man who is trying to save his tribal villages from destruction. In order to help him you must tap the touchscreen to define the direction that you want him to throw his boulders. The object is to match three or more of the same color boulders to destroy the train of boulders before they crush Cronk’s village. Along the way you’ll encounter special boulders that will aid in your quest. Test your skills with multiple levels of difficulty!

Graphics and Sound above average
I think the game is a bit too expensive but, on the whole, I am not sorry I purchased it. The sound effects and graphics are wonderful. I do not like having to start back at the first level and would appreciate an option to continue from the level where I left off. Game is a bit difficult on later levels and the controls are a bit difficult; I prefer the iPod click wheel game of Zuma to Cronk because it is easier to aim. However, Cronk's graphics and sound effects are fun and keep one happily occupied for a while. Not sure how much replay the game will have.

Has Great Potential, But Not There Yet
This has potential to be decent but it currently lacks the polish and features of a couple of similar apps. I had originally hoped that the developers would regularly update the game but there's been little done since it was released; and they haven't posted any hope for updates.
I had emailed them for some feedback and had a couple of questions (I paid $8 for the app!) but they never responded at all.
UPDATE: I guess they read my review because they finally responded with some news that some updates are on the way. I understand that all of the apps are works in progress. I just wish more developers understood the value of communication. All it takes is a few sentences under the app description to let us know. I do like the foundation of Cronk so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Fun and addictive
Cronk’s easy to pick up (my four year old also plays it) yet highly addictive gameplay should provide hours of entertainment for a broad audience making this game a must have for $4.99. Fans of games such as Puzzle Bobble (a.k.a. Bust-a-Move) should have a blast with this one. This game is a lot of fun and a great pickup to fill those mobile moments of downtime.

This game is excellent. Worth the money for sure. Buy it!
A couple things that are super annoying: the shaking of the screen when new rocks are coming out, and the fact that you can't swap colors. If you get a color you don't need, you have to throw it in there anyway and mess it up. You should get an alternate color like in Zuma!

Very good game
It's one of those games where I can play it for awhile and then a few weeks later come back to it and still enjoy it. Most apps on my iPhone are fun the first time I try them but don't have any "repeat" play for me. If I'm going to spend money on a game I want it to be something I enjoy over and over again.

Great Game!
This game is totally sweet if your a zuma fan then you will love this game. This game is fun, entertaining, and makes you think before you make a move. My favorite part of this game is that cronk is put into different possitions in each level unlike zuma where you are constantly placed in the center of level. This game is great for first time application game users.

Enjoyable, good new price
I enjoyed the game and think the current $4.99 price is right for the game. For the price of a value meal you can get an enjoyable game.
I like to play these games when I am in line or trying to pass the time so saving the current state to come back to is nice.
Pleased with the update and still having fun with the game.

not great
Nice idea but if you like Zuma you might be disappointed. In Zuma (and other similar games) you have the ability to see what your next throwing ball color is. In Cronk you are forced to "throw the one you have" regardless of whether that color is even in the line yet. Throwing it somewhere else does no good as the same color ball appears until you throw it into the line. This results in a lot of single color balls peppered throughout...I'm getting exhausted even talking about it, as I'm sure you are reading. Hopefully Zuma will make it to the iPhone.

Fun game ! It's as challenging as you want it to be and the colors and graphics come through terrifically on the iphone screen.
Also, if I had a dime for every time my 10 year old asked for my phone to play cronk in the car I'd be all set! Well, well worth the asking price too.

Like it way more than I should!
Of all the ball style shooters, this one is the most creative. I really love (and yes, sometimes hate) the track layouts.
And, this version seems a bit faster, although I was happy with the speed on the old version (3GS)
