Great when it works
I use this app often. It works great when it does work. I have to erase and re-download regularly to get it to work. Now, I write the puzzles on the Notes app and the copy/paste into the crossword app. Otherwise, I might lose all the data. And that’s annoying.
I gave it three stars because when it works, it is great. If it didn’t crash so often I would give it 4 stars. It’s missing the ability to add numbers and symbols. Otherwise, great.

Good, but needs work.
Best app I’ve seen for creating crosswords, BUT…. It has glitches. Keeps reverting to past puzzles. I loose the current one. I try to save it. It then reverts to the older ones. Rather frustrating and a time waster. Once a puzzle is saved and printed, JUST archive IT! I do not need to keep seeing it blocking the view of the current puzzle I am creating.

2) very easy to enter the answer and clue
3) a variety of fonts to choose from
4) ability to use an image of your own as a background
5) ability to size the image for its placement in the puzzle ( I prefer it behind the blank squares of the puzzle grid
6) lets you choose the opacity and gradation of color for each part of the puzzle
I print out the crossword puzzles and am using them as a review for the Bible Study lesson I am teaching, and my students are really enjoying learning in such a fun way!

Meets my needs
I was looking for a way to create simple cw puzzles for my granddaughter and this app is perfect. Love the ability to use a custom background to match the theme of the puzzle. The Save/share function is a bit clumsy, so one star off for that. No crashes or data lost as some other users reported.

No! Terrible! It's a sham!!
Very misleading. You cannot make a decent puzzle. After submitting my crossword puzzle, that took a lot of time, this app crashed. I cannot even open the app I paid for to get all the information I just worked on! Ive lost everything. Money, time and all my info. Don't invest in this app!
An hour later I still cannot open the app I paid for!!!! I wish I could at least open it to get my information. Or I cannot get into the app to try a different puzzle. This company is a sham!

It still crashes often contrary to what the developer says
I like the user interface, the puzzles it generates are fine, and the look and appearance of the puzzles are great.
But you can’t export the puzzle, every time you try to save or export it the app crashes. I’ve tried airdrop, I’ve tried emailing as a pdf, I’ve tried every option to export. Same result.
If you’re looking at this app you’re probably a teacher and busy. Don’t waste your time.
This app really shouldn’t be brought to market until these major glitches are resolved. I’d like my money back.

I love this app
I make crosswords here and there and this is the best app I have ever found for that job. A couple little quirks are easy to overcome, by your third puzzle you should be rocking it without any issues whatsoever.
