This game is terrific but it is rigged against the human player. There are two table views: Free View and One Person View, and the human has extremely limited capabilities when playing in Free View while the computer has a full range.
All humans can do in Free View is look to see if a shot is set up as needed and shoot. There is no cue control or ability to maneuver as one would do in a realistic game.
Don’t try any bank shots or anything that requires more than straight shooting because the bank shot when set up in Free View will go awry when shot in either of the two views. Meantime, the computer makes the wildest and most unlikely shots successfully and only misses once per game, sometimes. Once in a while, the computer will miss one or two shots per game.
One Person view never allows the human player to see the full table. So, the player is essentially blind on many shots. The computer is never limited in this way.
I play the game at Veteran level and have only beaten the computer 3-2 or 5-4, once. The computer is permitted soft shots that allow the ball to go in without scratching. No matter how the white line is adjusted to prevent the scratch, the white ball gets potted often.
The game has great potential but these deficiencies make it frustrating. Fix these and I’ll give the game the 5-star rating it should have.
