Best app I have seen for learning cursive!
My son is now learning cursive, we have tried all the different free apps out there. This app is worth every dime! The best thing about this app is that it tells the child what letter they are practicing and also demonstrates how to write it. Most of the time with the free apps my son was not sure what letter he was practicing because it only had pointers to how to write the letter and wouldn't state what he letter was and didn't show how to draw it real time. The app is beautifully illustrated and fun for my son. Thank you so much for this app. Parents look no further, this app is the all in one place to help your child practice cursive. Being able to add your own cursive words and to record it with your voice is awesome! It even has a print option for your custom lists with the dot to dot lines to let your child practice on paper. Absolute A+!

A definite asset
My visually-oriented kindergartener, who reads at a 3rd grade level, was having a bit of a problem following directional instructions for making cursive letters. After 10-15 minutes a day playing with the Cursive app, and then going back to his printed worksheets, he is breaking through his barriers. The animation feedback, repetition, and totally dispassionate patience of the app is just the thing he needed.
Our 2-year-old preschooler, while playing with the Writing Wizard app, is learning small motor skills and the importance of following instructions. Because of the miscellaneous animations, she is also learning physics, fluid dynamics, and so much more. We have definitely recouped our investment in the app by the end of this first week.

Delightful
This is perfect for teaching children cursive. I have my kids use it with the Apple Pencil so the skill will transfer over to real life writing with pen and paper, and it does. The instructions are straightforward and simple enough I didn’t have to explain to my five-year-old—she didn’t need my help at all. And the animations are dope. They remind me of those bubble things you buy for your desk for people to play with or old Windows screensavers. They are interactive and oddly satisfying.

Fabulous #1
As an educational Therapist, with my Masters in special education and as a reading specialist, this is my #1 recommendation! Really brilliant students with dyslexia will write their letters differently every time so it never gets anchored into their memory the same and is easily confused. This program anchors in the direction of the letters while they hear it. Fabulous. I’ve recommended these products so often I should be making commission !

I love this app. I wish that the words I added on the iPhone were also automatically also on the iPad when we choose to use that device. I think that each list has to be imported to each different device. That’s the only thing I can think of that would make it better. ;)

Doesn’t include uppercase cursive
While I appreciate that the app has lowercase cursive and there are no issues with that, my son is also trying to learn uppercase cursive and I did not see any option for this. I’m willing to change my rating if I’m mistaken but I went through all the options and couldn’t figure it out. Sort of disappointing since he has trouble just using the tracing books and this is a method that generally really works for him.

If you want your child to stay engaged this is the app you want. She loves the stickers she gets to control after she practices the letters. She has been using this app for a while and she finds herself picking this app over other games. It's the stickers! Genius for developing such an engaging app! Thanks

Yes sir can I play it for a little time
I can not believe that I am not a fan of the game but I cannot is the way you can play the game and play it all the time and you can play it and play it all the time and it is a great game for me haha was a great day of play it all the time I would play

Very glitchy app
This app is very glitchy. It started off okay, and the effects are really nice, but once we got to the letter b it would not allow us to continue tracing the letter. It was like it did not sense the touch halfway through the letter. We tried several other letters and it does the same thing. It is a great concept, if only it would work properly.
We even got the paid version so we’re out $5 for a non-working app.

Genius way to use touch screen technology to teach cursive!
Love this app! Was struggling to help my child with cursive when she wasn’t getting much instruction in school. This has been a game changer. Does everything I could want it to do!
