Description
What are CVC Words? CVC Words are words that follow the pattern consonant-vowel-consonant. They are the simplest words and the starting point of many phonics programs (after studying letter sounds). These words highlight the short vowels such as the a in cat, the e in bed, the I in fin, the o in top, and the u in sub.
This game is a great way for your child to identify CVC Words they commonly use in the classroom. It will show your child an image and ask them to pick the train car with the matching CVC Word.
They can play in two modes:
Practice Mode - This mode is great for a child just beginning to learn CVC Words. They can practice identifying them and if they pick the wrong answer it will help them learn the correct one.
Play Mode - This mode challenges your child by earning points for each train they fill. Each level they complete gives them less time to fill the train. If they run out of time or make a mistake they have to start the level over.
