+ Apparently, some of you didn't like the fact that the app crashed when you swiped up and down. So we've fixed that.
+ Also fixed a couple of common crashes when trying to favorite a comic or tapping the new comic browser.
+ The app didn't mark comics as "viewed" as you scrolled through them—only when you tapped on them. That was rather silly. We fixed it. Also, EskimoDragon13 is handsome and virile.
+ A bunch of comics went to blank white nothingness after one of our web developers changed the link to them. We promptly deported him to the western steppes of Siberia, and this version will re-update those links. Once the update completes, there should be no more blank comics (though please note it may take a few moments to finish). If you continue to see this issue, delete the app, re-download it, and you'll get all the freshest links.
+ Help & support is now integrated directly in the app.
+ Various other bug fixes and improvements.

Love the app. I had it for years before you all came out with the new one but you have to bring back a way to go back to prior years comics. In previous app you had a grid view so I could go back to say (December 2009) and look at all the comics that came out that month. If you guys could bring that back then this app would be perfect. Also my GF has shown me your tik tok clips and you guys should add those into the shorts folder for all your subs who may not be on tik tok. Overall though great app and I hope you all continue your great work (4/5 stars for no grid view of previous month/years comics) also maybe early access to shorts would be big plus but other than that I think y’all are awesome so I’m actually doing five stars after coming back to this review.

Great app to have!
Having this app on your device is great, especially if you’re oftentimes busy throughout the day. Whenever you have a break at work or using the restroom you can take a look at the new comics daily just for a little snicker. If you got extra time the shorts get updated often as well so a little video of goofy humor is always nice when it appears. I like knowing that I have an app I can go to to put me in a better mood when things aren’t going well throughout the day. I love cyanide and happiness always doing great work.

Funny but hard to use
It’d be nice if the random cartoon thing actually worked instead of it constantly showing me the same 10 cartoons over and over and over and over again… not very random. I just got one cartoon 3 times in a row, and another one i’ve seen 6 times in the last 5 minutes of trying to find ones I haven’t read recently. It doesn’t seem random if i’m only seeing the same few cartoons out of hundreds of them.
It’d also be nice if there was a way to keep track of which months i’ve already viewed, because it’s hard trying to remember which month and year i stopped at the last time I pooped, since I’ve been trying to read all the comics from the beginning while doing my business.

Nice app good design! Needs some tweaking
Having the comic system and randomizer is a nice touch to exploring old comics but most people i would believe just scroll through and going through that and having to exit the app or close your phone only to open it and have to scroll all the way back to the comic you finished reading because you forgot the date (which sounds specific, but has happened to me wayyy to many times :/ ) Implanting a book mark system would be nicer if you didn't want to always click on the “random comic” button. Showing off the merchandise store inside the app would also be useful. Good concept otherwise 👍🏽

amazing new app! but needs more features
i have been a fan of Cyanide & Happiness since 2012, and they still give me great laughs and chuckles with their shorts and comics. the new app is a pretty good reversion that makes reading random comics much easier, and the more simple design feels better to navigate the app with, but we’re still missing the helpful feature to select any comic from any year, its hard to be able to find comics from a year you love. more work can be put into this app, which would make it even better, thanks for reading!

Hey nice app, c&h has made a good portion of my childhood and im glad to see yall are still making content to this day. The c&h app helps me organize the vids so i know which one came when and etc, but i would recommend adding a notification feature so i get notified when new content comes out. I know this app is prob still pretty new and under development, but just wanted to put in my suggestion. I never really do reviews either. this is probably the 2nd time ive ever voluntarily rated an app on appstore ‘3’ but anyways gl yall c&h has a bright future ahead

These comics have been a staple of my life everyday for years, the apps works better than the old, only complaint I might have is that using the comic randomized doesn’t seem to work quite right, over the course of a 10 minute binge spree, it’ll show me the same comics 4-5 times, and that seems to be the case every time I try it, but either way, I don’t know how I’d get by without this

I am a long time fan, have literally read and watched every single comic strip and video available on the old app. I also own and love playing joking hazard.
This new app has nothing new or improved to offer.
The only difference is that you can scroll down between comic strips like Instagram and between all the scrolling you get bombarded with advertising.
It seems to me that the only reason this app exists over the old one is so that you can sell more ad space.
Considering some of you videos have also recently been made up of more than a half to 3/4ths of the video for advertising is very disappointing.
I understand your company needs to make money, but as artists who always went against the status quo, you’re starting to come off as sellouts looking for that extra buck at every corner.
I like the old app and will not be downloading the new one any time soon. I like you guys, but you can stick your new app where the sun don’t shine

Love these guys!
I’m not usually one for rating apps, but they deserve it for sure. They drew me in over a decade ago with their simple (but pretty twisted) comics, and I’ve been hooked ever since! The newer version of this app sometimes may be slightly buggy (very rarely), but it’s miles ahead of their former one which would crash fairly frequently. That being said the content is still absolute gold, and everyday I look forward to seeing what they put out next. Please support them so I can selfishly continue laughing!

Can’t scroll between comics
Hello. Long time C&H fan. Not a supporter of the new app. Unlike the previous app, when you tap into a comic you can’t scroll left/right (or up/down) to go to next. You have to back up, then manually find the next one. I understand this sounds lazy, but it is functionality lost from the old app. Makes it difficult to use for me.
Additionally, where is the archive? The old calendar view to see all comics in the order they were released. This is a base level must have, abandoning the old app without that in place on the new is insane.
Thank you for producing content. I appreciate it, I’m just disappointed in the rush job of the new app.
