Kelley Sills,
Login error
Although the website is phenomenal and the resources and courses are endless, I find saying the same for the app is difficult. Since there is no sign in through google (like offered on the site) I cannot log in to the app, this has been a consistent problem and there has been no update to get rid of it. So for the company’s generous platform - 5/5; their ability to make it accessible on an app - 3/5. Please update the app so I can re-evaluate it.
vertices86,
Terrible App
I’ll just echo everyone else. I hoped after seeing complaints going back so far that maybe it had improved. Nope, it’s awful. The content is good, but lord help you if you are on an iPad or iPhone. Only login option is via an emailed link, that you must click on that device, and even after such an archaic login process, it logs you out after an hour, even if you are actively using it. So you get to repeat this magical login process every single hour. On top of that, the lessons are short, and it doesn’t even auto play. So ever 5 or 6 minutes you have to push Next. Sometimes, for review, you just want to let it run and listen. no you can’t even do that. It’s astonishingly bad for being an IT related app. Cybrary content is decent and it’s fine using on a PC, but this app has got to go. I paid $250 for an annual membership and have to deal with this abysmal app. It’s bad enough that it makes me second guess my purchase.
Bpf-Dallas,
Many issues with iPad app
1) the login function: you can only use email link - I intentionally don’t have email on my iPad mini. But I have to use the link on the device I want to use the app….. lame
2) session timeout: 1 hour session, then log back in, even when actively viewing….. lame -> having to go through issue #1 every 60 mins is a pain.
3) the search function: really?! It doesn’t auto fit the device and when you try to slide over for options it closes the search…. Lame

Thankfully their content is good and I can use it more effectively on my computer, but please get someone to fix these issues. Many developers out there looking for contract work to help. Until fixed I cannot give this app anything but a single star.
PSCurtis,
Login Issues
I’m using a direct Cybrary account, no Facebook/Google/LinkedIn login.
When attempting to log in, it requests that I clear my cookies. However, even when cookies are cleared across all browsers (even though it forces use of Safari), the login issue still persists. You refresh the page and it displays an error. After a reboot of my device, clearing old cookies and content, enabling cookies and reinstalling the application with cookies enabled, this issue still persists, with no way to get around it.

I hate to be that person, but until the application is actually usable, I have to give this one star. Cybrary, feel free to reach out so you can resolve this for me and so many other users.
imagitronics,
Content is good. App is garbage.
The app forces it to login every single day, and it won’t allow password login, it sends a magic link to your email, requiring you to change apps, and then that link actually works about 1 out of 3 tries, the rest of the time it just sends you back to the sign on page. Then the one time I really need the app, I was away from my desk but I had a solid chunk of time to study, the content wouldn’t load. Also you can’t background the app and listen. Just a terrible, terrible application. Cybrary probably contacted this. They should pull the app from the store because it is a bad impression of them.
Infosector,
Soothe, sleek, and clean app. Great for learning on the go
Cybrary is a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about Cyber Security fundamentals and studying for certifications. Information is up to date and easy to follow. For those looking to break into the industry or for those looking to advance their careers within, this app is a must have. I found the curated career paths and engaged community the most valuable assets Cybrary has to offer and will happily continue developing myself with them.
ayenicky,
The app …..
The app itself is horrible as soon as I log in it logs me out . I don’t have these issues on the website but an app would make things more convenient . So the information from the site itself is great . Some features aren’t a available and you’ll have to upgrade to get everything . I do think they should offer a free trial period so we would know the full benefits . But app 0 website 8/10
Odysseus42,
Organization of content is horrible
Content is poorly organized on this site. I’ve started the CISSP course, but it’s not listed under Courses. Is it under career paths maybe? Nope. Other courses show up. Navigating back to the CISSP course is confusing every single time I go back to the site. Then navigating the course is frustrating as well. AirPlay support is broken. When I try to AirPlay to Apple TV, it sometimes works but mostly doesn’t. A shame coming from a tech company
applesoranged,
Wont let you listen to any courses
This app constantly tells you that you need to login from a desktop to “complete the activity”, but when you do log into your desktop, you don’t have any activities to complete. It’s just listening to the video. Why won’t it let you use the mobile app? That was the whole point of the mobile app, to learn on the go.

None of my courses work on ios mobile app. I am so frustrated
Softballer Badgirl,
Huge improvement. Great now for remote learning
The prior version of their app was bad and poorly maintained, but this new versions is a huge and welcome improvement. Courses and other content are now easily accessible and I can learn anywhere I go. Thanks for finally updating the app!
