ADD A STORY LINE!
I love the app, and it is so much fun but at times it gets boring. You train, get enough stars for dress rehearsal, do dress rehearsal, then you start all over. (Except for the occasional weekend performance). It’s the same thing over and over again. I have an idea to make it more interesting. You add a story line, apps like episode, choices, and my story are well loved because they are games with story lines. I bet if you add drama such as “Jenny sabotaged Sara’s performance” this app would do better. Add in characters that create a story and your character has the choice to communicate and chose options on what to say. Don’t get me wrong, the game is great, graphics and all....but I bet it will be fantastic if you added storylines. You already have fake characters in the app when you check what place you are in the competition, just give them lines and make it more interesting. Thanks~

Very Sad to Write This
I have played this game for years and reviewed it/updated my review as the game has progressed. The problems recently have become so bad that I reached out to support, who eventually emailed me to let me know they would be in touch. Progress because previously I had stopped contacting support through the game because they were never replying. I never heard back, however, and have been unable to open the game for over a week. This is a game I have played multiple times a day, competing in ongoing weeklong competitions. It’s something I actually care about. I have invested time and money into it, and cannot even get it to open. I tried to get it to open on a different device and it would only start a new game. I seemed to remember reading in the FAQs that you couldn’t transfer a game to a new device, so I went to check, but the FAQ only open an email to support. They are all gone. In the past I have had problems with this game making updates that were “flashy” for no reason and upsetting gameplay, but this is the first structural update that has made the game unplayable. I may sadly have to delete it from my phone. On the plus side, I’ll get so much space back it’s almost a blessing.

Long time player here... this game was amazing when it first came out. Then the updates occurred which changed a lot. They took away our dress boosters that we earned which was bull and gave some bs excuses about it. This game has come and gone on my phone several times. I always check to see if there's some improvements. I can't stand how sometimes the puzzles aren't winnable when this is energy based or the fact that we need to clear 24 colors to be able to click the card. Used to be 15. BUT the game some what improved. I LOVE that we can change our dance partner... I was sick of Alonzo... I only usually spend a small amount of money in games to support the developer if I like and am enjoying the product... this game has pist me off over the year but I just had to purchase Gleb!!!! I find myself playing a bit more and more since I purchased him and I don't feel bad about it. Just wish they would balance out the puzzles a bit more. I do love the new Viennese waltz I think I totally misspelled that lol I think it's such a romantic dance and I really enjoy watching it when my couple gets to do it.

I love the show and the game I wish new hairstyles and shoes and accessories didn’t cost so many gems because it’s so hard to earn them. I also don’t like how the training portion where you practice to level up your dances has only 10 moves I used all my energy trying to get 1 star it needs more moves in everything. I understand that some levels have to be difficult but once your dances are at level 30+ you need like 28 or 30 gems for one move and sometimes the matches don’t line up to make that happen so you run out of moves before you ever get to do one thing in your dance and to do any of the training takes so much energy you can only play for about 20 minutes before having to wait an hour for your energy to build up also think there should be a one Time purchase for vip or monthly charge so that you always get those type of gifts instead of spending 500 gems that you took so long to earn to only get amazing gifts for 2 or 3 days

This game is fun but I have a problem with 2 things... When I played this game back in 2017 it was phenomenal but when I played back then the dresses were so detailed and looked exactly like the picture as it did on the girl now the dresses just look ugly on the characters and aren’t color matched or detailed like the picture no sparkles like they used to be no fine detail on any design and it honestly makes me not wanna play anymore because the dresses and accessories are the things I used to like most about the game and now it’s just disappointing. The second problem I have is with a purchase I made with purchasing gems I perched 1.99 worth of gems and it went through but I didn’t get my gems and I’m disappointed.. overall I guess it’s just not as fun as I remember it being with all the excitement I used to get when I got a new dress now it’s just disappointing when i put the dress on and it looks like someone from kindergarten made it .. :(

Fun game, but...
It wasn’t holding my interest as much as other games, so I kind of drifted away. Now I’m trying to move my apps to a superior phone (Samsung Galaxy S9+) and I just logged in one last time to make sure I wouldn’t lose my progress in the migration process, and I’m immediately assailed by the fascinating lie that performance upgrades were implemented in the latest update. Is that what we’re calling it when a game that used to run almost consistently at 60 frames a second and respond to touch screen inputs now chugs along at an agonized 15FPS (when it’s not freezing over nothing) and ignores the majority of my screen taps? Why?? Were people getting motion sick? Is most of the player base cavemen Who were scared of how well the game was running? Well, whatever, if that’s who’s paying, then good for the developers, but I think I was wrong to give this game a second chance. Send me a push notification when the game is engaging and responsive again.

Things need to change with another update.
I’ve been playing this since March of last year and up until this current update, it was amazing. I feel like we lost 5 moves in the practice rounds and went to 10 now. It’s already hard enough to get 3 stars but this is crazy. Give us 15 moves in practice please. I also can’t stand that they slowed the game down when you make your move now. It use to be faster but now it’s sort of annoying. I really wish they would also let you “bank” the colored gems even if you have one ready to go. They also need to give out random accessories as well as the dresses so we can get some without spending outrageous purple gems for them. I’ll keep playing and hope the creators see this, but if something isn’t done in the next update, you just may lose and fan and I’m already and 3x Mirror Ball Champion.

WHEN will I get new dances without having to pay for them??? I’m getting bored of the ones I have here.
I receive “gifts” from Sonia of dresses that I will never wear unless I fork over money for new dances. Why can’t we receive gifts of jewelry, shoes or other accessories that we can actually use towards getting more fans each week???

- The extra dances that Paula has are expensive. What level do I have to reach in order to get one of these for free??? Do you really expect me to pay (either by purchasing diamonds or pay outright) for these new dances? There should be a way for you to get them for free.

Why are the clothing accessories so expensive? If I use my diamonds to get those, then I won’t have them for competition days.

I had this game around the first time it came out and then I deleted it because after a while it’s like you need to purchase more moves just to get three stars. I downloaded it again today and i’m going through the same frustration. It’s like the same 3 dances over and over or you have to purchase the other ones. What the heck. Even during the live show, I can barely get a really good score because I don’t even have that many moves to work with and the gems don’t match up like that. So basically the only way this game is going to be really fun is if you spend most of your money on diamonds so you can purchase stuff. I know that’s how these games get you but i’m not falling for that. Once it starts, it don’t stop. Then the rehearsals take up most of your energy. Now I remember why I deleted it lol.

DON’T PLAY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP RAGING
This is truly a frustrating and pushing game. You will get obsessed with it and everything but then it pushes you to spend your hard earned diamonds so much toward the end, that you end up doing it, by accident or not. Usually, the game lets you watch a video for more energy and extra moves, but it completely stopped doing that, so now I am have a harder time with dress rehearsals because sometimes the requirements of the rehearsals are totally unreasonable and unrealistic, and probably requires extra moves to get past them. Once, I tried to watch a video to get extra moves, but the only option literally was to spend 50 diamonds, and I accidentally clicked that and used my hard earned 50 literally just for energy. I really hope this game stops this pushing, so everyone will enjoy this game, because honestly, I am never coming back to this game because of this, unless this gets fixed. I don’t like how this game pushes people to spend money on this game so much.
