Not bad as an instructional app. It helps to know a little bit about Danish first, though. I disagree with the other commenter. It's really not hard to figure out what each picture is and relate it to the audio and the printed Danish words. The immersion approach is comparable to the Rosetta Stone courses. The first picture is of "a man" (Danish "en mand"); later in the first lesson, you see a picture of a man lying down with the caption, "manden ligger"; it's not really that hard to figure out that it means "the man lies" i.e., "is lying down."
The only problem, which is quite annoying, is that the completion history and statistics disappear every time I sync my I-phone. It reverts to the free version, so I have to in put my user name and password to reauthorize the full version. It's a pain, and it would be nice if the developers would fix it. This is the only app with which I have ever had this problem.

Effective teaching method
Buy it and get through it. Won’t teach you every word in the danish language but who really expects that? Use it to complement other courses of study when you have a free moment anywhere you find yourself sitting around. If you don’t understand a word, look it up before moving on. You will get more out of it that way.

Simple, Fun, and Good
There are three lesson packs ( each cost $0.99) with a total of thirty lessons. Only three lessons are free (1, 15, & 30). In comparison to other apps, I thought Danish would have been more difficult to learn, but it's actually a lot more simple and fun. The only problem is that sometimes the pictures make it hard to distinguish between står and går. I would definitely recommend this app for beginners to use as a foundation before beginning more complex/ difficult studies.
Minimalette,
Best app for Danish, hands down
I love the approach and the new material. You learn by learning real sentences along with pictures describing those sentences. This method of learning is way better than flashcards because -1- you learn grammar automatically, by seeing, using, and remembering real sentences, and -2- you remember definitions as pictures, not words. This is key if you're going for fluency and rapid translation. I love this app.
Jackson Gray,
Review/Reccomendations
First off, let me say that this is the BEST app out there to learn Danish. I have also tried Spanish in a month, and have a 97.0 A in my Español class! Thanks guys! Back to the Danish app, I really love the way to learn it. It's really unique.
Reccomendations:
- Make another course for Danish that goes even MORE into the language. I'd pay $5 for more lessons.
- You should setup voice recognition, so we can practice pronouncing and speaking.
I HIGHLY reccomend this.
Tak!

Sound
I bought both the Danish and French courses and the sound is an issue on both. I have all the settings correct and have even checked with another language app if the sound on my phone works. Hope this can get fixed as the course looks interesting.

Amazing App! Love the Jewish models!
DisappointedDanishLearner,
Don't bother
There are no English captions to tell you what the Danish words mean. Ex: you're shown a picture with a girl holding a cup and a you hear a word that corresponds with the picture. But is the word for the girl or the cup? We don't know. English captions would be MUCH more useful!
Fudge oval,
The hell???
So there are pictures and the word on audio. I don't know what the hell what all these pictures even mean. Don't waste your time. Even if you're dead bored.
