The problem with the pillow and the disappearing knife
I think I’ve found why some people can complete the pillow puzzle and get the knife, and for others it just can’t be done. It appears the order matters for the two cutouts. But, once you’ve done the “wrong” one first, there’s no way to reset the puzzle to the beginning or to skip it. So you are stuck with abandoning a good game, or replaying from the start.
I liked this game better than many, because I actually did that… twice. The first time I did the same thing again. The second time, about a week later (insomnia, what can I say!), I did them in the other order and it worked.
Developers, please add a proper reset and skip to that puzzle before more people give up on you. And maybe lose the order. Thanks!

Birdhouse Issue
The item provided to take the nails out of the birdhouse is refusing to allow me to use it. It keeps saying there must be a another way, I’ll try another solution, etc. and others. I know I have the correct item, but it still refuses to let me progress forward on the game. Please explain how I can fix this issue. P.s. I have tried restarting the game several times.

The art is always so gorgeous it takes extra time!
I really loved the artwork. It is vibrant, and so gorgeous even down to small details.
This was an interesting take on the headless horseman. It was well written and fun to go through. Right now I am finished and the third grader has requested “we” go through it together so here we go.

Issues again
There are several problems with this game. The mini game with the pillow is not the only mini game with problems. The maze did not work properly either and I am not about to reset a game and be forced to repeat play to get something to work. This could have been a good game, but the biggest problem and the one that keeps it from being a fun game and instead causes headaches is the fact that it usually takes 3 or 4 tries before anything can be picked up. It is maddening! Also the inventory descriptions do not stay on the screen long enough to read them, so they are useless. Please let’s have some quality control before releasing.

Still in the trial period, the first issue noticed was when pressing on items, the description flashes and goes away before one can read the item. No problems
I hear everyone is having problems with the pillow and the getting the knife. I just skipped it right away and it works that way. That being said we should not have to skip it for it to work. The game ran great great after that. I enjoyed this series. I hope they update fast. Update to Lynx: I did contact Oleg for more Epiex games. Thank you for all your help. We love all the games we get and need more of them.

Update: I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, which took care of the issue. Love the game and story line!
I’m stuck at the same place as everyone else… once the items have been sewn onto the pillow there is something off screen you are supposed to get but can’t get to! Hit the hint button and it circles something that isn’t even on screen. Please fix this!! Love the story, but this is frustrating!

Dark Romance: Sleepy Hollow
The game is good but the items that you have to select is not sensitive to the touch. One has to tap multiple times for it to finally work. Also, the games freezes once and a while. You have to close out and go right back in and it works. Other than those two things, I find the game very enjoyable.

Pretty great, except for glitches
I also had a problem with the pillow mini-game. I had to delete and reinstall game and replay up to that point, then use “hint” and “skip” buttons to bypass. Also it was difficult to read the names of the inventory items, since the descriptions flashed VERY briefly when the items were tapped.

Not Sleepy, Not Hollow!
Great game with lovely artwork and marvelous puzzles! I always love the games with shades of good and evil. This was a smooth play for me. Terrific work—and please give us EIPIX! You know we will buy. Thanks for such a literate and lovely game! I even enjoyed the HOPs (usually just tapping for me) because of the artwork! moxieruby
