I downloaded this app today being the reviews were so great and tried to set up my profile. I didn’t have any selfies on my phone and the app wouldn’t let me pass so I picked a nature pic from my phone to get passed the screen. It worked but, eventually I got a notice regarding my picture being unacceptable. In that mean time I had takin a few cute picture to use but, but, when I tried to get into edit my profile it had become a black screen that acts like it’s frozen. Is there a way to fix this or am I just out of luck?

I have mutual likes with certain (supposed) women in the app, but none of the matches are being shown. As part of this, I am unable to send messages to any of those I have technically matched with, and I cannot even respond to messages I have been sent. If the point of this is to push people to purchase the premium version of the app, you might as well put a price on the app since it seems nothing can actually be done for free like with other dating apps. If I am ever able to connect with others for free, I will update my review. Until then, I will remain convinced that this app deserves one-star reviews by everyone and that all of the five-star reviews are therefore fake.

In response to the developer’s response, I do not know how the developer can persist in being so dishonest. Even those who purchased the premium version have had issues with this app. Considering the facts I have gathered, it is clear that the positive reviews are fake, and I deleted the app and will never return to it due to my lack of an ability to trust the developer’s words. Fortunately, there are multiple other dating apps that do function properly and give people using them freely a chance to have success.

In my fairly experienced opinion, this is the best dating app out there. It doesn’t overload you with matches or info. It gives you fewer, but better, opportunities to swipe. This means that people give more thought to their swipes, you can live your life without spending all day swiping, no one gets overloaded with messages, and no one has to write hundreds of quirky ice-breakers to get one response. The fact that there is a bit less info available about your matches means that you get to know them more organically instead of having an algorithm rate your compatibility. Rather then writing essays about yourself, you can just type up a blurb, or do what I did and not write anything in the profile. I matched with people who were interested and I could tell them all they wanted to know over messenger. I’ve tried them all, and this app facilitated more good dates in no time than any of the others. Siren for the win!

I heard about this app from a friend. She strongly suggested me this app several times. She told me that this app is different because it targeting people who are serious about dating. I found my boyfriend from this app. He told me that he did a little bit research and found this is a better dating app than others because this is the only dating app that has more female users and the profile questions just seem more helpful and serious for finding a date. I’ve talked to a few people from Siren, but I’ve only dated my boyfriend. We have been together for almost a year now. I would suggest users answering the profile questions serious, and be open to talk to people. Wish everybody luck. Thank you Siren!

This app is garbage. The app is slow and laggy. When you fill out the questions or bio it will randomly delete the text. The first time I downloaded and connected appleid it took me to a subscription wall with no way to exit though it claims to be free. I deleted the app and reinstalled and it took me to the regular screen like it’s supposed to, but it seems you can’t do anything without paying. You can’t message people without a sub and they can’t message you without a sub, unless you just so happen to show up on their feed and they “like” you. If you like them they can’t see who likes them unless they pay or vice versa. All the profiles showing for my area had 1-2 photos making me think they’re fake. No real people only chat bots from the devs. In short the app is a scam and poorly made.

I attempted the trial and found a a buggy app with little to no functionality. All of my “matches” were women 100s (sometimes thousands) of miles away and I live in a city of over 1 million people. What are they even matching me with? My profile options for what I am looking for are limited to less than ten options if you count “brunettes” and “brown hair” as different. You can also only really tell people your smoking and drinking preferences as well as what is on your mind. Also, I seemed to encounter a bug where I only saw men(I am male and my setting was for females). After reloading a few times it would correct back to the women that were there before. These positive reviews I see are very suspicious in how they speak of matching and bagels? This app screams scam.

I have had an unbelievable amount of spam mail from this. Says to unsubscribe...sure, I’ll click for this easy escape. Nope. Gives me a 404 error. Tried on the computer...same thing. When you sign up...pretty sure it’s for life. Didn’t even pay for it either.

Update: So they’ll apparently send you a message after complaints...yet I still can’t unsubscribe from the garbage that is their spam. I didn’t even make a profile picture. Once I saw payment was needed, I quit. So why is it that “all these girls in your area” are wanting to “chat”. Dear lord, I didn’t realize I was going to give my email this kind of cancer.

Second update: I can see I’m just going to have to update every single time we seem to have the misunderstanding that I want to stop getting all your stupid mail. Reviews are fake af. Everybody here, seriously...read their recent or critical reviews. I know I’m going to keep receiving spam, so I’ll be back in probably another week. I’ll review bomb this until I’m removed.

Third update: Don’t listen to this garbage. Had to go through Apple to get something done. Everything about this app is junk.

This app is definitely not for those who want to make a split decision on who they'll sleep with for the night, although I'm sure you might be able to find that if you're both seeking. Siren really takes the time to get to know you and your preferences. It also makes it easy for those who would normally say they don't know what to put in their bios by giving them phrases to start off with. It's much easier to figure out the person in the profile you're looking at. One of the best dating apps I've tried.

They say you can use this app for free but it’s only for you to check out and see how the app functions. You can’t do anything else with it not even the core function of it. You have to pay for it or only use it for the free week then give up. Poor choice on making “premium” just functions that other dating apps already give you for free. Also the fact that this app gives your exact location by default is very scary and should be off by default unless turned on. Last issue is that chat boxes disappear and reappear very frequently which makes it frustrating to try and talk with someone when you are doing other thing on your phone/app.

All of your reviews are not about the app not working well it's the fact that you are not having any luck on it. The app itself is fine. All you people having trouble meeting people is a: you are way to judgemental and fail to realize that you obviously arnt having luck in the real world that's why you have a Siren account .. B: maybe the reason unnatractive people are trying to connect with you because maybe just maybe you yourself Are unappealing.
