Good for a start
This is also a free PC game, and so like other cross platform games it’s sooo much better than 99% of the “F2P” mmorpg garbage on smart phones. I’ve been enjoying the game for a week now, and although I had some weird lag issues the first couple of days they have fixed this(iPhone 13) This is one of the best F2P games I’ve played, it’s up there with genshin impact in terms of I haven’t spent any money and I see no reason that I’ll have to. You cannot speed up progress with money, or the only thing I guess is you can buy some materials. But I like farming resources lol it’s what a game is about imo, actually playing the game. Yes there are inventory slots for diamonds, but diamonds are earned in game, not a paywall, also if people played more than an hour they’d see there are upgrades you can buy with coin which is earned in game also. I’m not even sure if the inventory slot upgrades can be bought with premium currency. More like skins, and resources for idk lazy people who have more money than patience? Try it if you like ark, or genshin kind of a mix in between those two games. Much more like an actual survival mmo

Off to Great Start, Bigger Emphasis on Multiplayer.
In all of the hundreds and hundreds of games I’ve played throughout the year, I’ve never left a dedicated review on any of them. This will be my first legitimate game review, and I’m fine with that because I actually enjoy this game and would like to offer suggestions!
The game is off to a great start. I believe to increase the longevity of this game, there has to be a bigger emphasis on multiplayer interaction and seamless connectivity between the two.
The design of having two separate worlds within multiplayer and your single adventure world is a bit counterintuitive, since you have to completely restart everything depending on which one you choose first. It’s a bit of a drag knowing you have to grind all over again.
I like single player games, but I love multiplayer games even more. I like exploring with people, fighting monsters with people, adventuring with people. This is how you create new friends, and this is the bedrock of what makes a game last for so long. People, or at least your friends, should be able to join your single player world. The apply to visit/settle is a bit strange, since 9 times out of 10 you get rejected. Even when you do visit, the owners don’t know how to change the settings to allow the visitors to craft and do other things. It’s a good game, but being able to explore this large open world with others in a more seamless way would make it a lot better. Thanks!

Worth Every Second ;)
So got this game a couple days ago and … NO REGRETS
Non at all!! I’ve been waiting for a game like this for years ..YES I SAID YEARS. Open world , Free roam , PvP & PvE , Survival RPG , I feel like I’m playing a official game not just some half made mobile or console or PC game ect ect … I feel like I’m playing a game that’s made for a old console like a ps2. Why? Well now days games are all just the same and aren’t unique in any way at all. They don’t seem- finished ? Or thought put into it yk. BUT This game is very well made and very appealing to me. Sure there are a few minor flaws like : 1 you cannot chose a clothing style you prefer instead males get full clothes and females get short cut shorts and a crop vest . 2 movement is a-little stiff . But that’s all ? The game is amazing other then those minor things which people the game just came out 7 days ago- things will be changed obviously!! So I recommend you get this game now and play because it’s worth every second of your time!!
… Btw The building mechanic and style is just * chef’s kiss * 🫶

I can say some of the reviews on here are not all telling.
1. You only lag on Certain device.
2. It is not pay to win the whole point of limiting the stuff you can carry is so you can go out and explore more, you can always put things inside of a chest.
3. I recommend adding more mounts.
4. Many games have 2-4 players in multi at a time. Journey, and sky children of light have similar things where you can not talk to people at first. You can here tho and it’s like a mix between sky and genshine.
5. You are free to do anything in the world as well as do quest. You can make something in creative/blueprint area and past the blueprint on your worlds when building. This makes it easy to build whatever you want to and personally helped out a lot.

I love the game
Ok so yes I do love the game it has so much going for it and as a game designer I know how intricate it can be to set everything up the way y’all have. That said, the only real issue I have run into it random disconnects. I have a 500mbps Wi-Fi and still gets it. I don’t know if it’s like a server thing or not but it gets kind of tedious logging back in every 10 min. I tends to happen more on the multiplayer world but does happen in single player as well. Overall though it is still a new game and has a lot of room to grow and get better so well done devs and team this game is fantastic and if your ever looking for another designer I’d be happy to work a team who can produce something like this.

**** Pro’s - 1. Amazing graphics!! 2. Fun game overall. 3. Not an over the top but unique and fun customization set of things. Your character, house design, etc. 4. Co -op is pretty cool. 5. Decent story line. 6. Character design, enemies design.
**** Con’s- 1. No controller support…. 2. Game seems a bit weird on movement , just seems fighting is not fluid at all. Figure I would get a nice crisp movement like in Genshin or Zelda… heck even like their other game Snowbreak. 3. No controller support……. Hope the devs clear up the cons. I am sure there are more for others, but those were my sticking points. I am sure they will work out the bugs. Pretty cool game.

Major Potential
Dawnlands is obviously very new, so take any negative reviews with a grain of salt. I will be playing this for a while and come back and give a more detailed review later on. So far, Dawnlands has a unique but simple character creator. It reminds me a few other games merged into one, but Dawnlands also has a decent physics system unlike any other competing games. It's definitely worth checking out.

Amazing!!😭
It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for in open world games!! Only issue I’m having ( I’ll just assume because the game just released ) but I’d be mid game and out of nowhere it’s like I’m booted out my own world. & the load screen won’t really load and tells me it’s struggling to sign in. Besides that minor issue so far, I absolutely love this game!! ☺️

Survival game focused on IAPs
This is a crafting and survival game with limited resources, which has multiplayer components though you appear to have to pay for some of that separately. It has the same predatory IAP structure as countless other mobile games, which results in a general feeling of the forced limited structure constantly pushing you to make purchases, rather than the focus being on entertainment. A game like this could have been made very well as a premium game. But alas, it was not.

Its okay
The app is very buggy, lots of lag and frames dropping. This is the first time I seen an app divide the game in solo play and multiplayer and even so, multiplayer is just up to 4 players which is kinda disappointing since I was expecting an open world with people around me playing at the same time. The art style of the game and characters is very pleasing to see I’ll say that.
