So, I always read reviews before dl a game app because so many of them are scams and don’t offer what the ad shows. I was wary about this one because so many people complained about ads popping up. Yes, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being so many ads that it’s not worth the download, this game is a 6 for me. And I ONLY play games that are free, so I understand that viewing ads to play free is just going to be. There’s an ad before starting a dazzly, and an ad after finishing a dazzly, and they are full 30-45 sec ads, and most do not let you close it early, but for the fun of this game, I will tolerate the ads. There is a pretty extensive selection of pictures to choose from for free, and I’ve been addicted to this coloring game since I downloaded it, and stilp have a bunch more to complete. You can unlock more by completing pictures, which is good- I just wish there were more opportunities to unlock more pictures in more groups. There are literally thousands of pics to choose, but Id estimate that only a couple hundred for free, if that, but it’s a lot better than many other coloring apps. The sparkle factor of coloring with gems is super cool!!! Overall, I hope that the app creators continue to provide more and more FREE pictures, and I would 100% recommend this game for anyone that loves sparkly things and coloring apps. I have definitely enjoyed it and so has my 7 yo daughter too!!

SO SATISFYING!!!!

Annoyed with the glitches.
I love this game. I’ve been playing it for more than a few months and I’m obsessed. I’m so obsessed with the game that I bought the subscription to get new pages to color every day. My only issues are the glitches. I start 1 or 2 coloring pages and finish them both. Once I finish them I get busy doing something else, so I have to get off my game. Before the new update I would get off the game and come back an hour or two later to see that my pictures that I just finished were still fine, and they were saved. Now after the update, the pictures that I just finished hours ago are somehow not done. I still have to finish them and they didn’t save. I find it weird that even when I go back in the second time to finish the picture. Usually I don’t have to go back in to finish the same picture a third time but, this morning I had to because the game didn’t save it. It’s very frustrating and annoying to redo the unfinished coloring page over and over again. Another issue is the game freezing or just glitching out so bad that it kicks me off the game. Making me restart the game and try to go back on. One more thing, I’d love to get new gems! Ive basically used all of them so far. I’m loving the game but, I'm starting to get annoyed. Everything else in the game is great! I would really appreciate it if you could please fix these glitches in the next update. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me. ❤️❤️

Best time passer!! (Please read all of it!)
I have been OBSESSED with this game lately. I have ADHD so I really hate those paint by number games that are really detailed. Like- you have have to put the correct color on the correct space exactly and if your finger misses you have to go back and blah blah blah. It’s just very tedious and hard to do. But with this game it’s so easy!! Nothing will happen if you don’t get the gem on the right spot, you can make a whole line by dragging your finger across the area you have to fill. And I’m gonna be honest- sometimes I just go rogue and swipe my finger across the whole screen and get all of them in one go. And I mean- of course you CAN put them down one by one… but what’s the fun it that!? And no more having to watch adds for hints!! You can just tap the gem and it’ll show you where they go. Also it’s just more fun because it’s sparkly, and they’re gems, and it’s really pretty. The people who made this really fixed everything I hate about color/paint by number. I’ve never liked these kinds of games, because with adhd I just hate tedious things that take so much patients. But this game is AMAZING. I have 0 complaints. DOWNLOAD IT RIGHT NOW!!!♥️♥️

Okay, so I gave this a four star because I downloaded this app on my iPad, and it glitched a bit at first. But I didn’t mind because some of my other games glitch too. But it got to the point when it crashed every few minutes. And if I went back in to finish my picture, it made me watch an ad to finish it. I don’t like ads, but I get why they’re there. People are complaining that the ads are super bad, which they are annoying, I agree with you on that. But it’s not that terrible, how are people going to get people to download their games and make money on it if they don’t advertise? Anyways, this game kept crashing so I had to unfortunately delete it. But I do have it on my phone so I play it a few times. I just wanted to write a review on that so people know that it sometimes crashes. And since it crashed, therefore I gave it four stars. And the gems you color with are awesome! So sparkly! If your a fan of sparkly stuff then I suggest this game. And some pages you have to have VIP for. I get it, that’s how they get money. But maybe make a few hundred more free pages? Also there isn’t that much category’s. I just wanted to suggest these things to make the game better and deserve five stars! Thank you for reading.

Do you love ads?
If you do, this is the game for you! So sad too because it had huge potential. But unfortunately the simple minds of the people who market the adverts for the game want to torture us! The sheer volume of ads is just unbelievable! And it’s the worse kind! The ones that you have to clear 3 times each ad waiting seconds in between! Punching that tiny X over and over! You have an ad just opening it then before you color a pic and one after, and usually they will get you with another one as well! I’ve had to watch 3 ads in a row! That’s 5 minutes approx of ads for 3 mins of coloring! And these are the full minute adds with the stupid bonus screens to clear as well! THEN…to ad insult to the complete injury they have made you endure, you very well could get stuck watching one mind numbing ad over and over and over and over and over….I think you get my drift! I’m not renting these jerks any more space in my head and deleting the app the same day I installed! After seeing all this I don’t even trust them to be installed on my phone, there’s no telling what low down dirty schemes they are affiliated with! We have to stop letting them get away to the slow rotting of our brains!! There’s so many others out there killing it and getting it right, we don’t have to tolerate bullies! So it’s very satisfying to see the gems line up and there are so many pictures to color one issue is that there are a lot of ads and some of the ads glitch and I can’t do them it’s very frustrating because I pick the very cute ones😡.another small issue is that sometimes when I try to swipe it moves my view. I like that you have a daily gem but you have to watch an ad to get it😺you can play with your gems and I really like that❤️.I would like the free trial too be a little bit longer three days is a little short 🫤the gems are so pretty but there kinda the same thing but different shape also so many ads! It’s so annoying and there the same ads over and over again. If I can’t complete one the ad might glitch like I said. You get new gems but if you don’t collect them they won’t count and you’ll be one step behind when your getting a new piece to color so when something says 3 new gems or something click on it and you’ll get gems . If you decide to get premium you can get more locked ones to color and you can make your own pieces to color to! If you have anything related to this the you can write a review to I hope none of these problems happen to you 😀

The subscription price for this app is too rich for me so I’m doing f2p, and for the most part I’m okay with that. There are plenty of pictures to choose from and completing most unlocks different color variations which are just as good, and sometimes better, than the original. You watch an ad as soon as you open the app, you watch an ad when you complete a picture, you watch an ad before starting a new picture. However, and here is my complaint. The app sometimes chokes at this stage and I’ve had to watch FIVE ads before subsequent images would actually load.
So in order to limit the number of ads I open the app, watch the ad and color my picture, then close it immediately! Open the app, watch the ad and color my picture, then close. Rinse and repeat up to 6 base pictures a day (18 with variations). Is it tedious and annoying? 💯! But the artwork is absolutely worth it and the jewels you collect are gorgeous. I do kinda wish you could choose how to sort jewels though. The app does it by shape which is fine, but I’d like to be able to sort by jewel, or color family, etc.

Fun, but a couple issues
Dazzly is a gorgeous and fun take on the color-by-number genre. Seriously, there are some beautiful designs in this game and I love seeing how they’ll turn out. There are a couple of issues for me though, the biggest being performance problems. Lots of people have mentioned these in other reviews and it seems like the developers just brush them off. On my iPhone XS with a fine battery and only the game running and nothing else, I lost 10% battery in 13 minutes. My phone gets very hot while playing, and the game graphics lag more and more until I close the game and let it cool down. It’s not a good experience to have to close the game for a couple minutes between pictures.
Second issue is cost. I’m just not really a fan of the subscription model (I’d rather just pay for the game once and be good to go), and this subscription in particular seems pretty expensive; $14 a month unless you pay for a whole year at a time. I can’t justify paying as much for a coloring app as I do for fully featured computer or console games. The free version has way too many ads, but I could deal with that if the performance issues were dealt with. Still a stunning game though and I hope these things improve because I really want to keep playing.

This game is so fun! The graphics are beautiful, and there are always new designs available for those playing free. You don’t have to worry about running out of material and being forced to either delete the app or pay to keep playing. It’s gorgeous and so relaxing. This used to be my favorite game! However, now, there are an obscene amount of ads. There is one before and after every single image you color, and each one is a full 30-45 second ad with there rarely being a chance to skip the ad early. In the off chance you try to play the game in an area where you have little to no service, or play the game on airplane mode, you will still be stuck watching an ad for Dazzly before and after each image. ( It struck me as very odd to sit and watch an ad for a game I am actively playing…. Twice ) I understand that with free games, they must advertise to make money off the game. I have no issues with that notion. However, when the amount of time spent watching ads is nearly equal to the time spent coloring, I can’t justify it. Unfortunately, I will be deleting this app.
Overall, a stunning app, but way too many ads to enjoy playing it. I will be redownloading when I can afford the subscription!
