Within the last patch, Dead Effect 2 Zombie is arriving with login screen fix + fixed side-task requirements for an explosive shotgun and nova gun and also, with fixed offline DLC support on some devices/accounts.

Within the patch of Dead Effect 2 update, we have fixed all major issues and improved the quality of overall gameplay.

•added language selection in options - English, Spanish, Russian, Hungarian
•fixed problems with texts in settings on some devices
•fixed side task drops (Smart Aiming System, Explosive Gel)
•fixed Super Soldier not being recognized as a target boss in some tasks
•fixed controllers not working in the in-game inventory menu
•fixed reskill hiding Gun Turret Summon ability (if you reskilled and lost the ability, just open the ability manager and ability will be rewarded back)
•fixed Nova Gun task required weapons (now it can be finished with Heplanon too)
•fixed ability Devastation showed on hand instead of around player
•fixed problem with opening locker while reloading dual wielded weapons
•fixed player respawn points in several missions
•IOS - fixed problems with controllers in some menus and minigames

Not bad but needs work
I love the game and have played it on and off for close to a year. The graphics and sounds are amazing for a mobile game and the side quests really keep you going even after the well constructed campy. The only complaint I have is that it’s way too time consuming to get all the boss kills required for weapons training. Needing 30-50 Boss kills is way too much for how long it takes to actually get to a boss. Even with maxed out weapons it takes a minimum of 3 minutes before you can get to a boss and kill it. I suggest either lowering the boss kill requirements or providing a faster way to get them. Another addition that I believe would make the game more enjoyable would be an endless survival mode that becomes progressively harder.

Great gameplay/story but the in-game currency system needs to be balanced.
I really enjoyed the first Dead Effect and since I’d recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an XS, that meant I finally had enough storage space to install the game so I went ahead and did. I looked up some videos of people playing to learn a few tips and tricks and one thing I noticed from watching old gameplay was that you don’t earn nearly as many credits per mission anymore as you could before the game was deleted and this version took its place. You literally earn about 10% of what used to be possible. Plus the best weapons/armor cost crystals rather than credits but you won’t get enough of those unless you pay for them with real money.
I understand that the game is free and was made by a small group of developers so they need those micro transactions, but it feels like the game could be balanced a bit better for those of us who like to play to win, not pay. Mind you, I’m more than willing to pay real money but would prefer to do it because I want to, not because I have to. Anyway, it’s still a great game and I’d recommend it to anybody with the patience to grind their way through it.

Was Fun , Until I Bought a New iPad.
I was an avid player of Dead Effect and Dead Effect 2 on IOS. , until I tried transferring them onto my two year old iPad Air using the latest IOS operating system. I lost all of my progress and all of my in game purchases when I loaded Dead Effect 2 onto my new device. You can’t play long with the miserly mission payouts compared to the absurd cost of upgrades , armor , implants and weapons , many requiring actual cash purchases . I change my review slightly because I found that there is a reward system for many of my achievements and accomplishments in the game. It would be nice if this was easier to access and made as common as visiting for upgrades , armor , and weapons . I can also see the list of achievements and previous progress I made through Game Center , I don’t understand why previous upgrades in all required areas can’t or won’t be restored , still disappointing .

Awesome!!! 1 problem
I downloaded this game after I thought about the last game and how I played it ages ago. Wasn’t expecting anything but this sure is great!!! As of now I have no problems with the game besides one huge problem that I can’t seem to fix myself. This is my options menu which doesn’t seem to show most of the options like audio and graphics and such. Controls and control layout I can see just fine but everything else just doesn’t appear but I can still interact, so I don’t know what I’m changing in my settings because there are no words just buttons and sliders. Hopefully you can fix this.

This game is freaking awesome!
First off let me say Bravo to the Developers of this fine game, I always make sure to download it with each new phone I get. It’s a must play in my opinion if you are a fan of the FPS genre. And one thing that perplexes me is how this game isn’t more popular and that it hasn’t been updated in 4 years. How I wish it were being continually worked on or that there was a Dead Effect 3 in the making, although such things aren’t meant to be I suppose…. Anyways, great game and I will continue to play it as long as the Devs allow me to. Thanks for a great gaming experience. Take care

Continuous crash (issues)
I play both Dead Effect and Dead Effect 2 with absolute dedication, but a month ago. I had to uninstall the game because I can no longer get it to open up on my iPad Pro. One month later, I try to do the same thing and I still am unable to load the app without crashing upon opening it. The apps loading screen appears upside down and then crashes immediately afterwards. Please fix this issue.

Definitely a quality game
Surprised by the quality of the game in terms of gameplay, graphics/polish, as well as the story. I original only expected a main story mode, but there’s a lot of different modes and missions u can play, not to mention side objectives. It can be played without spending any money, however sum sections do get tough. Use survival mode as soon as u unlock it as a hood and efficient way to grind money,gear, and levels. Solid game all around💯

I never have done a review on ios but this game deserves it. Truly free and better than any game on a phone. I tend not to like FPS however with the lack of RPGs with choice based gameplay on mobile, this being no exception aside from level ups, this game changed my mind. For a phone , great game and thats no insult! Infact the best I have played so far. Thank you for opening my eyes to a new genre. FYI no ridiculous paywalls!

I Love the story.
I literally finish the whole story even though at the part 3 mission it really hard but i eventually finished the game I really enjoyed it and i would love to see more story coming like after they went to planets and it continued to part 4 and add more people to the story and new places than just space ship like outside of space ship map and they meet more people in that planet etc.

I grew up with dead effect series at the time i couldn’t find another game i would spend endless hours on even today with my newer ios account this series is very great i hope whoever made this series see this and hope the make a dead effect 3 or reboot the series i would love to see to see dead effect be brung back for one last time in all its glory.
