Great app, some incorrect dates
I got this app after hearing about it on the podcast and I love it. I have always found death terrifying, but fascinating. Thanks for a great app, Scott!
I noticed an incorrect date on Louis Armstrong and did not see a way to report it other than here. It said he was 69 when he passed, but the death date of 7/6/41 that is listed would make him 39. Maybe in future updates you could add a way to report issues. I hope I’m not coming off as a jerk. I just feel like with the respect you obviously have for these celebrities you would want to be alerted of a problem so it can be fixed.

Details and dead-ication - love this app!
Thanks for your work keeping those who have passed in our present. This is the first thing I check in the morning. It’s like the Pete Seeger song: “ I get up each morning and dust off my wits, open the paper and read the obits, if I’m not there I know I’m not dead, so I eat a good breakfast and go back to bed”. Scott is the best at what he does.

For those of us fascinated by celebrities and death, THIS IS A AWESOME APP.!!! I gave it four stars for one reason and ONE reason only, I WANT THE PREMIUM SERVICE!!! I cant wait!! When will that be??? Ive got friends to download the app. and I KNOW there are more than five of us who have this app. so WHEN will it be, Scott?!?!? Dearly Departed makes my day!
My family has the Dearly Departed app on all of our phones! The vitals are all there: perfect for the Death Hag in all of us! The app runs smoothly and you can look back at previous calendar days. The daily dead celebrity pop-up is a great conversation starter at dinner table: "Mom, what's a diddler?"

Interesting info
I admit it...I have a strangely morbid fascination with dead celebrities. This app is great for someone like me. It tells me the dob, dod, & the reason why said celebrity passed to their next plane of existence. It's one of those apps that will likely be on my phone for years.

Needs a few things
While great for information and reference, it still needs a few things. I suggest a search box for looking up a particular celebrity. How about listing a few credits (if any) of what the celebrity is known for? Also needs to have a link to your store and any merchandise you sell too.

Death a Day is OK
It seems odd to call this app fun but it is interesting. It is surprising some days when you find someone is dead that you thought was alive. It is a must have for pop culture junkies

Love this app. We took the Dearly Departed tour and found it both fascinating and at times amusing. Upon suggestion we downloaded the app, it does not disappoint for people who are fascinated with star trivia beyond who is dating who.

Love this app! I had the pleasure of meeting Scott and going on a Dearly Departed tour as part of my birthday present. Scott is a wealth of information! I have always been fascinated with old Hollywood and Scott is an expert! My dream job would be to work at Dearly Departed! Now I can get daily info with this app! Great job!!!
