The Elite version of the DECADE App was designed to replace the live DECADE Seminar which is over four hours long and intended for elite players. We did not anticipate all the interest it would generate with junior golfers and mid-handicap players. I guess we should have.
With that in mind we have created DECADE Foundations to replace our Lite product to better serve that audience. Junior will drastically slow down the avalanche of information within the App. This will more appropriately match the Golf IQ of our subscribers. Over the course of six months the content within the App will walk a player through the basics of course management and mindset slowly morphing into the Elite version of strategy over time. The statistics portal will also start slow and build into a robust and easy to use portal

Essential to improve at golf
If you want to shoot lower scores and your swing is decent, my advice is to play a lot with a player who shoots the scores you want and learn how they manage around the course. If you’re like me and don’t have regular playing partners who are at that level, you must use Decade to learn how to navigate this game at the highest level.
Simply googling golf course management will give you too generic of tips, many of which are simply incorrect, like playing less than driver club off the tee “to get the ball in play”. (Fyi, the correct tip is to practice more with your driver and/or get lessons and turn it into a weapon. You should be bummed when the correct play is less than driver 😁)
The Decade system is based in math and strokes gained statistics. The app continues to improve. Scott holds regular webinars to answer questions and explain nuances.

Open your eyes, new way to approach the game
May seem simple to some, I’ve played golf my whole life…after decade golf is easier. Great mental thoughts and reasons to play shots you KNOW you can hit vs. HOPE you can hit. The elite membership with stats tracking is my favorite golf purchase in the last 10 years. I can’t believe someone made the software that enables regular players to track a few stats and have strokes gained numbers available to them for their personal game. Keep it coming. Will have a subscription for a long time.

Great if you put the time in
If you want to put some time into your golf game to shoot better scores then buy this app AND follow the program and learn every month. If you want a quick fix then go buy something from a golf commercial that will “fix your game today”. The Decade app is a decade SYSTEM that really hits its stride in months 2 or 3- but you need to learn the month 1 info for the later months to make sense and keep your head from exploding. So buy this and put the time in- your scoring average will thank you

App is disappointing but content that is there is good
There is not much to this app for Foundations. Some videos posted that are very insightful but not organized. There is seemingly not any regular program to follow. Yardage book function does not work on the app — but is available on the website (although setting the correct tees so far has not worked for me). The “Tiger Five” feature is hopelessly broken. Overall not very well thought out but perhaps they will develop it over time. Possibly worth it just for the insights in the videos but in terms of a regular program and the quality of the yardage books... best to keep your expectations low.

A Must for Competitive Golfers
I have been using the decade app and yardage books for a little over a month now, and it has transformed my thinking. I watched the videos and used the book as designed and I almost qualified for the US Amateur missing it by a few strokes, and have become a first alternate for the US Mid Am.

Great content, Horrid App
I am only a few days into trying the app but I’m about to give up. I love the content — incredibly insightful — but getting to it is almost impossible. The video player is buggy and awful. I’ve played a bit with the other features and they seem like something I’d love to use use if they worked but based on other reviews I doubt they will work either. I’ve been involved with software and app development for 20 years and to produce something this poor is inexcusable. it’s not fair to the author and I hope he fires this development firm and hires another. I usually don’t post any reviews but this content is so good and the execution so bad that I really do hope he starts over so I can buy the new app.

The app is so incredibly bad
I have truly love the learning content so far. Found the concepts very helpful, and at times mind blowing. But the app is detracting from its usefulness. Tried to go through the putting simulation and the short and long fields just disappeared. Had to do it from the web page which is comes up in a really small box that i had to zoom in on. Also would help if the FAQs were actual FAQs and not random videos. An introduction on how to move through the program would be helpful. I specifically bought the foundations to work through the concepts slowly. Did I have to buy the elite to get a better app and user experience?

Buggy, poorly designed app with great content
Three major frustrations with this app are:
(1) The video progress bar is in a bad spot. The progress bar for the videos is at the very bottom of the iphone screen, so it takes immense concentration (and precise fingers) to move the progress bar without wanting your iPhone to switch between apps because you’re dragging left or right. The progress bar needs to be repositioned.
(2) The videos stop playing or won’t load for seemingly no reason. The only remedy I’ve found is to switch between several apps then come back to the Decade app. This usually gets me another 2 minutes of content before I have to do it again.
(3) The app must be opened to hear the audio. Most of the videos are audio heavy. But, the app won’t play a video once your phone goes to its Lock Screen or you switch to a different app.
Great content tho. But the content is far too hard to access.

Love it five stars
But, if you could fix the driving tool so it works on my home course which consists of three 9 hole courses that would be great. It glitches out the driving tool when I try to load a nine hole course. Still love the app and am giving it five stars 🍻🏆

Very confusing layout
The layout and functionality of the app is too confusing. The questions asked when inputting scores aren’t clear (bogey from 150+ in… what about worse than bogeys from in?). The rest of the app also makes no sense on how to improve and manage your game better. Disappointed with the current structure. However, if the creator of the app decides to make it more user friendly and clearer, then this has potential.
