I enjoyed this game very much, after mastering the game dynamics, I realized that you need to stick with this game over many turns. You need to accrue experience points that are applied towards improving your armor, attack strength, resources, experience and more for your next attempt. Gradually, you turn a corner in the game where you are actually holding off the attacks from the land and the air. Play does become pretty frantic. You have to juggle repairing your defensive units, upgrading when necessary, creating enough depots to service your defensive units with replacement ammo and expanding ever outward to set up more oil rigs. Couple this with random enemy attacks and frantically picking up spare fuel cans that are dropped when enemy units are destroyed, you are constantly scanning the battlefield and making adjustments to your units on the fly.
There is no strategy guide provided but my advice is to have roughly two bunkers and one cannon for every rocket unit. Also cluster rocket units together in groups of 3 or 4 to allow them to knock out helicopters and planes quickly. Put cannons and bunkers out front to knock out tanks and infantry. Upgrade your units whenever possible and repair them on the fly when you are being attacked. Place depots behind your units to resupply them with ammo. Have plenty of depots...at least two per cluster of 10 to 12. Eventually you will need to expand your command post’s perimeter to reach more resources. Do this 3 times and you will reach all the 50 resources and win the game. I was able to do this after about 135 continuous rounds/waves of enemy attacks. Pause the game occasionally to save your advancement. You can also stop the game and resume it later. Have fun and keep playing. Eventually, the experience points you gained from lost games in the past can be applied to your next game, giving you more of an advantage.
