Welcome to Delta Waves+, where brainwave entrainment is at its simplest!
Wait, what is BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT?
Essentially:
•Binaural beats to help you meditate, sleep or focus and concentrate on your daily tasks!
More scientifically, it consists of engineered audio frequencies that cause the brain’s frequencies to align to the frequency of a given beat. Your brain will perceive an hypnotic effect which may elicit a trance-like state. Brainwave entrainment uses frequencies that are the same as the ones naturally produced in the brain during meditation.
Delta waves, for instance, are high amplitude brain waves that are associated with the state of deep sleep known as REM. They are the slowest waves, and have a frequency between 1 and 4 Hz.
• Delta Waves+ is an app that allows you to recreate Delta, Beta, Alpha, Gamma and Theta brainwaves, helping you sleep deeply or improve your focus while working or studying!
Adjust the frequencies to your liking by moving the white dot-slider placed on the sound wave at the center of the screen.
You can also set a timer to stop the playback at a time of your choosing!
And remember: headphones are highly recommended!
• With Delta Waves+ you can also listen to 7 beautiful relaxing songs to allow for a deeper relaxation and you can also generate different nature sounds like rain sounds! Mix them in with the brainwaves to soften them and block out environmental noise!
Finally, you can change the background theme color in the settings page: choose between 7 relaxing Delta Wave inspired colours.
• HealthKit integration! Now you can choose whether to log your timer sessions to the Health app as "Mindful Minutes".

The Delta Waves really do Make Me Sleepy
I have so much trouble getting these apps to work for me. It’s very confusing how to find one and then be able to have it run long enough to keep you asleep for the night. I don’t like it when they stop and change. It wakes me up.
I’m still working on it, but this one has good music, or delta waves, and I think it’s running long enough so that I can stay asleep.

Love the brain waves but too many glitches!
This would be my favorite sleep app if only it worked consistently! I am so frustrated that the brain wave sound only (no music or rain sound), my strong preference, will not give me audio on my 2017 iPad Pro without using headphones, not practical for sleep! Looked for something in settings to change this but found nothing. So I use it on my iPhone 11, but most nights I have to reboot the phone or clear all background apps or both to get the audio portion of the brain waves only—and since my insomnia occurs in the middle of the night, it wakes me up more to have to troubleshoot this app!
That said, when I get it to work, it is an almost magical sleep aid! I just wish I could get it to give me audio on my iPad. Have never had this problem with any other app.
I would pay for the upgraded version if I thought it would perform the way it should— but then again, all I seek is the most basic function on this app, and for it to deliver that shouldn’t require a paid upgrade, especially with no certainty that it would even eliminate the performance flaws.

NEW UPDATE REMOVED BACKGROUND PLAY!
Very upset, the free version of the app only has 2 songs which I loved listening to every night to help me sleep... However, the new update now has banner ads.. but the WORST thing is now you CANNOT play the sound while the screen is off! You must leave the screen on to play the sound which makes it useless for me now... The app is ruined and unfortunately, I cannot use it if I can't turn off the screen (the battery will drain badly and the phone screen will get damaged from leaving it on all night)... Not happy about it, I have used the free version of this app for years.. this is absolutely appalling.. you have to pay a membership for this app... very disappointed, this was actually my favorite app for sleep despite only having 1-2 free songs...

Works great!
I had a hard time sleeping when I got the piles. I played this at night and fell asleep right away. 2nd night I was still awake. No biggie I set it to 10 minutes and it worked. If you ever wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep, don't play Candy Crush or read a book, just play this app instead!

Great on iPad
I've always had trouble falling asleep. I've used the Night Time Fan App somewhat successfully. Someone suggested I try something that would impact specific brain waves. I downloaded this on my iPad. It works pretty well. You'll have to mess with the pitch to see which works the best for you. I like it best without the music. I decided to download on my iPhone. It sounds a lot different. It's clunkier, with the throbbing beat standing out a lot more. I don't think it will work for me like that.

I absolutely love this app, it puts me to sleep every night. It even helps me sleep through my roommates snoring. It does have an in app purchase, but it's only a one time fee and it's so worth it. I have struggled with insomnia for a long time and this app has helped me so much.

Makes me less tired and more stressed out
The main part of the ONE song you get is relaxing until it loops to a sound that evokes the same thing as nails on a chalk board; it’s like an electronic bird chirping. For the $3 that’s required to download the app you should have more than one song option. To get access to more than one song you have to pay even more money, but don’t even get to preview them to see if the chirping is omitted. So disappointing.

Best app for delta waves
I’ve been using this app for a while now, I love the basic set up!! I fall asleep a lot harder then I normally do especially with my insomnia, it helps me sleep like a baby, I like that you can chose to just have the delta waves

Ads stop it from working
Ever since they started running ads in a banner there have been issues. Now more often than not it stops all sound when certain ads (ALWAYS the Calm App ad) run. Sometimes it just doesn’t make any sound at all.

Most recent update horrible!!
You now can’t have it playing in background. Kills battery. And the customer support hi from them keeps writing please email us to correct problems. I have several times and they have yet to respond or reach out. They will not help they try to give good presence but do nothing to fix!
