Description

The Dental Prescriber App for iPhone is designed to enable and educate dentists to quickly look up the scripts required to manage a patient's oral disease or symptoms.

The standouts of the application are
-The examples shown in the app show you what you have to write for all dental conditions. This is different from existing dental literature which provide you the patient dosing.
In other words..
-The form and concentration of the drug has been included for you
-The number of capsules and tablets have been included in the script
-Calculations based on weight (handy for paediatric scripts) have been performed for you

As this application is made by a dentist, for dentists, this app can be expanded to suit the needs of dentists who provide feedback. Furthermore, updates will be released to ensure the application remains up-to-date.

ThOxnic,
Great guideline
This is an Australian based app, therefore most dosages, medications and packaging are for the Australian market. This is because Dr Ha is based here. There are notes within the app stating this and welcoming suggestions from users in other countries. Please don't discredit a very useful app because it doesn't revolve around the US.
blake1120,
Waste of money!!
I bought this bc i just started handwriting Rx's when i learned on a computer system...it doesnt have anything about vicodin...it is written in a very confusing way...and uses drugs that most of my attendings have never written in dentistry...save your money!
jeepindoc,
Maybe in Australia...
Many common drugs (U.S.) omitted. Not very comprehensive. Needs mg/kg dosing for peds.
