I recently learned about the Beck test for tracking depression and wanted to give it a try. I started doing it in Notes for a while but that became cumbersome, then I realized someone probably made an app for it. I’ve been using this one for the past week and really like it. It’s simple, intuitive, and makes tracking my fluctuating moods easy.
An interesting thing I noticed is I have a separate app for tracking my sleep (with Apple Watch) and sure enough my Beck scores are always higher when my sleep times are lower. It could be cool to integrate sleep stats and maybe even a diet log into this someday to see if any of those are contributing factors to mood. I don’t mean to make more work for the developers, just a thought I had while writing this.
Either way, thanks to the devs for making this handy tool, and for making it free too. If there’s ever a donate option, I’ll send a small thank you that way too.
