Eating every 2-3 hours is a key principle of the Diet Free Life methodology. By eating or exercising in a timely manner, your body stays in fat-burning mode all day. With the Diet Free Life App, you will receive notification reminders to keep you on track for success!
For those with busy schedules (or Type 2 diabetics that battle low blood sugar levels), this app acts as your virtual assistant to remind you that it is time to eat.
How it works:
Every morning around your wake up time (at a time specified by you) you will receive a notification reminding you to eat or exercise within an hour. Tapping a button in the app every time you eat or exercise resets the fat-burning timer. Repeating this simple process throughout the day makes it easy to stay in fat-burning mode all day long!
The fat-burning timer can be one of three different colors:
-GREEN means you are in fat-burning mode, and your timer starts a 3-hour countdown.
-ORANGE means you are still in fat-burning mode, and your timer has 1 hour left. But in order to remain in fat-burning mode, you must eat or exercise within the hour.
-When your timer turns RED, you have shifted from fat-burning mode into fat-storing mode. When this happens, you can reset the timer and get back into fat-burning mode by eating or exercising (the timer will reset once you do this).
At the end of the day, you will be given an option to “END DAY” and receive a summary of your day.
