Cool Graphics. Bad play-control.
I teach chess for a living. Almost all my students like this game...except for when they try to move the pieces. Frequently if you try to touch one piece it thinks you are touching the one in front or behind. It is VERY frustrating. Other problems: You can't castle. The board is set up the wrong way (white square should be to the right). Good app but it REALLY needs to be updated!

Good Start, Need Some Improvements.
This chess game could easily go from a two star to a five star. First - allow access by email to developers to exchange feedback. Second-fits the board "white to the right". Third - have upgrade to eliminate ads. Well...there are a few other issue, but this game format has so much potential.

Good but limited
It's 2 player only. The game needs a computer opponent with different levels, including an easy level for kids. Board colors are reversed (as other reviewer said). Just my opinion, but shouldn't dinosaurs EAT each other? What's with the lightning and such? And T-Rex should be king. That's what rex means, after all.

My boy doesn't need to learn the boring rule to have great fun with chess. Very cool.

board configuration is wrong
Any redeeming value of this app is lost on the fact that they do not have the board configured properly. The lower right square of each player's board is suppose to be a white square, not a dark square. You cannot play chess with the dark square where this app has it. Brutal! Because I think this has potential to be fun.
