"djTurntables" turns your device into a professional turntable for DJs. The software simulates in detail the real turntables used by the great DJs of the past and adds features typical of modern devices. The fusion of the two worlds of technology, that of the past and present, together with the sound quality of the device makes "djTurntables" a unique musical instrument for professional DJs.

Horrific player
This thing can not play most of the music in my itunes library. It should have been worked out to where this player could play all the music I store legally in my library. I think if the developers had tried to develop a mean to do it, it would have happened. They’ve been too lazy to do so. This could have been the at the top as one of the best player ever developed.

It’s ok, I can make it work.
It could use a few tweaks to make it better and sound more authentic as possible to a real turntable, but it plays everything I ask it to. Could use an option to add the real vinyl crackle and pop sound and better way to upload and play tracks and also maybe ad an option to upload a whole album also. Otherwise it’s a good app. If those improvements and tweaks are added then I say it could definitely be worth 5 stars.

Bit By Bit, Best DJ app on the App Store!
First of all, my hat is off to you, dj Turntables. This is the first DJ app out on the app store (that I've tried) to finally meet me expectations. I am an amateur DJ and I LOVE an app like this. I'll break it down for you.
Turntable 10/10- I like that the timing works and how the album cover is cropped into the center. Very nice layout when it comes to appearance and performance. The timing system works, flawlessly.
Sampling 9.5/10- The augmentation of sounds, the power off/on, the rewind and fast forward buttons, and the Cue button all offer a great and unique way to sample and make to song, in a way, your own. The fade out feature adds a great new way to sample.
Scratching 9.5/10- The scratching is usually what users enjoy the most with DJ apps. Some are satisfied with cheap, pre-recorded scratches. I, like many others, am not. This application brings a great scratch interface to the table. Actually using the sounds of the song to scratch? Mixing your own songs? I haven't seen it done before on an app in the app store. Great Job. The new scratching is great. Two fingers lets you scratch longer, and move the vinyl as you scratch. One finger is quicker and fast if you want a different effect.
Appearance 9.5/10- It looks great, and its all organized. However , aside from the vinyl and augmentation feature, it doesn't look like a real turntable. But I'm afraid if you change it, it will be harder to use. So, don't change it.

Eh. Disappointed
This app requires you to have two devices to mix, which I'm not really a fan of. I really don't like the way the multitouch interface is setup. The program itself is super basic and I've got way better features from cheaper programs. It isn't visually appealing at all. There are NO effects or any adjustments past being able to adjust the pitch 8 points. If you Dj open format that's useless. I would've had more fun lighting my four bucks on fire. This app is isn't worth the money. I hate that it has to import tracks too. Other programs do it fast and offer the bpm and a waveform. I guess if you want to have an external mixer and to idevices and be able to barely control tracks and you were mixing dance music and you had money to waste then purchase this. Otherwise don't.
