This fun monster maker game introduces kids to the basic science of DNA in an easy pure-play style. Learn how to build creatures by completing a series of simple DNA puzzles. Get creative and experiment with quirky mutations of different body parts by altering genes. Have fun playing with your monsters and change their form in real-time while they dance, skate, eat or sleep!
CREATE & MUTATE
Start with a basic unformed figure and complete the gene puzzles to give it a fully grown torso, face and limbs. Then tweak the genes or simply tap on the monster's body parts to trigger mutations. Observe how the tiniest change in the DNA code can lead to unimaginable new characteristics.
Watch your monster turn from yellow to red, grow pink hair and 6 eyes, have its ears transform into fish fins and its belly pop out and crave for food. Best of all, these are emotional creatures with vivid personalities, so prepare to be surprised!
PLAY & EXPLORE
Once you complete all 6 body parts it's time to play with your monsters and have fun! Feed them, tweak them, push them, squeeze them, make them jump or slide! Go for a skateboard ride with them! Great app! Needs improvements..
Bought the app for my girlfriend’s daughter, 3 yr old who is on the spectrum and has anxiety so got this for us to do together when she wants to chill out and just play it for fun. The app caught my attention across all the “Mix & Match” games from the creativity and the mechanics. It’s very entertaining for myself and the kid. First, the price it’s not exactly what I expected, I thought I would get more. Especially deciding on which activity I get to do after I’ve built my little guy, I wanted more choice and so does the kid! It’s frustrating for both parties to have to wait to make them dance or feed them! Secondly, on iPhone X it’s difficult at the start of creating a new alien. Actually getting ahold of the matching DNA is hard, you just end up swiping the app up and takes the fun out of the beginning of the game. If there was any way to improve the app specifically for the newer iPhone generations that would be greatly appreciated and encourage me to buy more of these games! This is the first I’ve bought from this developer but definitely not the last! The only thing I fear is the poor choice of mechanics for my phone which makes me weary. Otherwise, great app, beautiful creativity and loads of fun for toddlers and adults!

Good but could be better!
I’m 10 and this game was probably made for 5 year olds needs more monsters and body parts maybe snot or slime I get that it for little kids but if you want everyone to like it add like a setting to turn on/off (blood snot slime fangs etc.)make it more like goosebumps (my favorite scary show it’s on Netflix this month it rocks for kids over 9 ,younger kids might get scared ,get nightmares etc. I started watching this year the book series is great!)

Overrated and Overpriced
Adorable game, but I don’t see why it’s $2.99 to play. It’s really boring and not worth the money. Now if there was more you could do, for example, like play mini games with your characters and/or make pets and families for the characters with DNA similar to the base character, or maybe even make a chat room where you could show of your characters, the game MIGHT be worth the money. I definitely do not recommend this game.

Food is hard to pick up
When the food is spawned and falls to the floor, some cannot get picked up. The action gets confused with the upswipe on the Xs plus, and exits out of the game. It frustrates my son, as the character clearly wants to eat the food at its feet, but you cannot get it to them.

I like the creativity of it al, and it’s kind of fun to mess with the monsters’ DNAs to see the silly results, but other than that, nothing special. Should’ve expected it. I enjoy it when I have nothing else to do, but comparing to other things, not too awesome. Ok.
