Needs Option To Choose Lens
The standard setup doesn’t allow for a choice of what lens are used. The assumed lens that’s active is the standard(wide) and then Ultra-Wide. However when focusing on the subject who’s in the rear camera sight continually stay out of focus. Either install the option to “tap to focus” on a subject or better yet give manual controls for each lens while the split-screen is active to select focus points. This will drastically improve the quality of images captured for export.

So I did a little bit of comparing between this app and the free DoubleTake by Filmic, and sadly found this app lacking in a few areas.
For one, DoubleTake by Filmic is free. Right off the bat, that’s huge. This app is currently offering a lifetime “subscription” for $8. Not bad, but are the features worth the price tag?
The answer: not to me
The biggest plus this has over DoubleTake is it seems this app records with much wider angles on both the front and rear cameras. With DoubleTake I had to fully extend my arms and I barely fit in the frame of the front-facing camera, and the rear-camera seems zoomed in. This app is significantly better in that regard.
HOWEVER, this app has NO STABILIZATION. Both front and rear cams shake like crazy. Every video I took was crazy jittery on both cams. And, if that’s not enough, I noticed it was constantly auto-focusing the rear camera. Of course, this app has no manual controls, so you have no choice but to live with jittery focus-seeking shots.
Final verdict? This app has potential, but it’s a no from me.

Does not download video
Great concept If it worked. Recorded a video and tried to save it. After rendering the video it went to save to my iPhone and just kept spinning to save it. And never finished. So 1 star.

Pro features not showing up
I purchased Pro Lifetime but can’t seem to access some of the advertised features. I only have 7 layouts (they claim 10+). I can’t zoom while recording. The only pro feature I can access is the different app icon.
The stock features all seem to work fine but I regret paying for pro.

iPhone13pro Can’t save!
App partially works. Design looks simple and intuitive but not sure if it’s still supported. I can’t save when I do a recording. If there’s no response within the next few hours I’ll request a refund.

I wanted to believe
I have an iPhone 10 XS Max the big boy and while the app records the videos perfectly from both cameras it hangs when rendering unless the video is less than 1 minute. Please fix this and I will change my review other than that I just lost my money.
Update: This still is not fixed and my footage is trapped can I retrieve this footage elsewhere?

Don’t use: Won’t save video
Same as others. Great UI. Purchased the in-app purchase. But recorded a 5 minute video and it won’t save. Now that video is just lost. Great concept. Terrible execution. Only has 2 jobs: recording and saving. It only can do one of them. Fix the critical bug and would be a 5 star app, but the bug is big enough to be 1 Star.

The tutorials are not helpful. I installed this app needing a double cam and it didn’t come together quickly. I don’t have time to take a class on this app for $7.99, this should be straight forward. 🤦🏾♂️
