This game could be great

DoubleClutch 2 is a great game with a unlimited potential I just think if there was just a couple things added it would reach that potential. The game already has good mechanics but need more shooting animations such as fadeaways, contested jumpers, and spin jumpers(double tap the shoot button then hold like NBA 2k does). With those new animations it would make it more realistic where you don’t get blocked every time you shoot and you just shoot like you normally would. I also think if they added a team and player customizer like DoubleClutch 1 had but more refined and where you don’t have to use “Credits” to change the attributes. I think a difficultly setting and more gameplay settings would be great. This game is a very good game just with these things added it would make it a whole lot better.

So much potential!

Wow, I usually don’t review games, but this one really deserves some feedback after being able to hook me in playing it. This was a huge improvement from the first game and I absolutely love it. The graphics, using real players’ likeness, and entertaining gameplay just mixes so well. I also appreciate the ability to see stats after the end of each quarter, as I like to see how my players are doing. Of course, there’s still much work to be done of course, as the only game mode is a playoff tournament. We could use a higher difficulty as well, I’m finding myself destroying the AI without a problem. A couple of improvements in gameplay and I think this game is set for its third installment of this awesome series. You guys are doing great work, keep it up! :)

It has potential but it needs more

I played doubleclutch 1 it was good you can upgrade your players and change the color of the jersey, So when doubleclutch2 came out i was expecting more like a career mode, more game modes and etc. but we only get pick a team and play in the playoffs which get boring more so if your reading this review can you add more to settings where we can change the minutes of the quarter and add more game modes like career mode or a general manger mode, I promise it will get more people to play your game.

Needs more

The games fun to play every now and then but quickly gets boring due to lack of features. Everything that was in the first game like player customization, appearance, stats, name, height, was taken out along with dribble controls leaving the us with nothing more than the ability to shoot step back jump shots and every now and then run Into the defender to get a random dribble animation that ends up getting the ball stolen. Other things like the ai controlling both sides. Also the ai playing to their stats. We need a difficulty setting because sometimes the ai will just completely stop playing defense and let you run by them or will take dumb shots. Overall I would like to see everything that was put into the first game updated into the second with more added to it

It’s basically a worse version of the original

The first one was pretty fun for what it was worth, just a run of the mill unity basketball game, but when I saw this I thought it would be an improved version of the first one, boy was I wrong. For starters all the customization features are gone and now the gameplay is limited compared to the original like the dribble moves, it’s nearly impossible to get a shot up with the step back because they jump up and block it nearly every time. So to put it short, it’s basically the original double clutch with none of its features with a crowd and players and teams I guess, to me they should’ve just updated the original.

Amazing but some room for improvement

This is amazing but we need a quick game mode, choose jerseys for game, roster editing, my player mode, association mode, enchanting the graphics a little more, my park, online mode and all that so please add that in double clutch 3, or update the 2 and please drop that game soon like ASAP because I’m telling you, your game will be much better than 2k and you’ll get more fans it’s like the free but better version of 2k but overall I love the new improvements it’s just it’s missing things so plz use this review! Terrible

Terrible game, this is only because I expected it to be NBA 2K30, the game has huge potential and will defiantly be top 3 NBA games of all time if they add the options to change the quarter length, add new manual dribble button with moves like behind the back, snatch back etc, add more dunk animation and player animations, fix the bugs when the other team/you shoots a three and it only counts as 2 points. Add more teams. Add the same edit option that doubeclutch 1 has. And add air balls and bricks/ if the shot is trash more ball animation in the air. Add a difficulty changer. Add quick match. Make steals not to easy. Make all greens go in and make shots harder to block. And also if u hadn’t already link one of ur social media accs so that we can be notified with updates

Better than the original

Y’all gotta learn how to dribble on this. I promise it’s fun once you learn. I know you can’t trigger spin of crossover animations with the stick like in the original but in this one you can swipe left, pick your thumb up, and swipe right and your player will cross over (do this very quick) you can spam crossovers, snatch backs, and step backs if you learn the new mechanics it might just take a new way of playing. Creating our own players would be nice but the nba style is cool as well.

Lots missing

I feel like all they did to this game was improve the graphics, add 3 almost uncontrollable moves, and add a meter. When I saw double cluth two out I was hoping to see a great improvement because double cluth 1 was just descent. This game pretty much got worst. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because of the potential. I would say make a 3 or update this game and add back the ability to edit teams, make more dribble moves, improve the UI a bit more, add some new things such as the ability to create a player or maybe even a season instead of a tournament. If that happens there’s no doubt in my mind this game couldn’t be up on top of the best basketball games on the App Store.

this game is good

I personally think this game has a lot of potential. Things I would like you to add is a option to increase the time of how long each quarter lasts and more animations like a fade away animation and a pull-up three animation. I also think that missing a wide open three while hitting a green on the meter bar is a little dumb, so a solution is to maybe tweak it so hitting a green on the meter bar is harder to get but it makes the three pointer or a fg way mor guaranteed to go in.
