Dr. Rounds® is a beautiful, easy to use, Cloud based Charge Capture product for physicians, mid level practitioners and support staff such as billing. It streamlines the process for you to capture your daily work when seeing all of your patients. With a few quick taps, you can record all of your charges and your billing staff can get it instantly.
The Dr. Rounds® App connects to the Dr. Rounds Cloud® service, which enables synchronization among your entire group and billing staff. Once the other members of your group begin using Dr. Rounds Cloud, they will instantly get your updates, charges, additions, notes, pictures, and Face Sheets. You have to do no extra work at all; it is synced to the cloud and synced to them automatically.

BRAND NEW VERSION! Dr. Rounds 5!!
Dr. Rounds 5 now includes SignOff as our biggest feature. Groups with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners will now have the ability to optionally turn SignOff on and use this feature. PAs and NPs with have the option of requesting SignOff from a Physician on patients they see depending on their Encounter. Physicians with SignOff privileges will have an Inbox of patients to SignOff on.
Live Search. We've rewritten Search in the Dr. Rounds Mobile App so that as you type the name of a patient within Search, the App pulls matches from your database.
Faster Sync. We continue to enhance the Syncing capabilities of Dr. Rounds. We've cut down on the time it takes to Sync but obviously this depends on the user's internet connectivity.
New UI Enhancements. We've moved things around slightly so we can use the real estate of these small screens a little better. Nothing that would cause any panic though.
New Menu Button. In keeps with optimizing real estate space, we've placed a few items into a Menu FlyWheel that we think will be a cool added feature.
New Default Settings. We've changed a few defaults so that if you are obligated to LogOff the App, getting started where you left off is quick and easy.
Reworked Hospitals and Locations. To prevent duplicate Hospitals and Locations, we've limited the creation of the Group's Hospitals to the Admin. This feature now is done from within the Administrative Menu in the WebApp Portal.
Adding New Patients. Regardless of Sync Mode, the App will always poll our servers and your database for duplicates when adding a new patient.

Terrible app
I have to delete and redownload this app on a regular basis due to random crashes and inability to sync to the server.
The search patient feature is useless because even after entering a patients name and date of birth, I have to scroll through long lists of patients with alternative first names and dates of birth.
The scroll wheel feature for entering numeric values like dates is ridiculous and overly sensitive, making it difficult and time consuming to enter in dates of birth or admission.
Would not recommend to anyone. Do better.

Can’t see myself back to the Cards
Dr. Rounds has made our rounding efficient and accurate. We’ve seen our revenue increase by 15% and our charges are never delayed because they are posted daily thanks to the instantaneous syncing of data to the billers via the WebApp Portal. The Nephrology feature is invaluable (so they say) but I don’t use it since I’m a surgeon.

Best App for Rounding I Have Seen
My partner and I have used this app since its inception. Every revision gets better and better. The customer service is amazing with every update fixing or addressing even the most minor requests.
The program does everything you could ask for in a rounding app except pull your lab results. Coding, billing, notes,image exchange, real-time updates on patient status. It has streamlined our office billing and reduced our accounts receivable.
I highly recommend to anyone looking to tame a medical practice.

Capture all encounters!
We are a busy 7-physician nephrology practice in Los Angeles with a usual census of 40-50 patients on a daily basis. We have been using this app since its inception. Prior to that, we had countless patient encounters that were not billed because we weren't using one unifying billing system. Now that we are all synchronized, we can easily tell if an encounter wasn't billed on a daily basis and capture billings that would have otherwise been lost.

Practice changing!
It's hard to imagine how this eloquently simplistic app has so amazingly enhanced our practice. There's no going back! Get it! And make sure your whole practice does too. Billing has been extremely streamed lined. Also our turn around time on receivables is decreasing every quarter. Can't live without it.

Love this app!
I cannot believe how easy this app is to use! I am a mid-level practitioner contracting to a busy General Surgery practice. My biller now has the ability to access necessary information that enables her to capture, and bill my encounters with their patients as soon as they occur. No more waiting for someone to fax CPT or DX codes! Love it!

Have been using dr rounds from beginning. You actually listened to responses on how to make it more user friendly and gave options in the last update, which made it an excellent app. Now with the cloud, it is the best rounding app ever. Tech support is almost immediate. You have outdone yourselves with this one, guys!!!

The best rounding app around
I've used drrounds now for over 6 months now and it just keeps getting better.
I'm a gastroenterologist that rounds on inpts daily and sometimes multiple hospitals. I've always been worried about losing facesheets and/or my rounding notes.
With drrounds, it's a simple picture of the FACESHEET and figuring out which are your most common icd9 codes with search features. So easy.
I also use it to send notes to covering docs (both who use drrounds and those who are not).
Check it out. It's a fabulous tool! Thanks Camil, Harold et al for all your hard work.

Great app - major cost savings
The cost of the app paid for itself in the first month. What normally took one of my employees an hour a day to do, is now automatically done with this app and is sent directly to my biller, completely bypassing my employees. Saving time and money.

Great App
I have been a long time user of the Dr. rounds + app. It was a pleasure to use and it has evolved over time. The introduction of the cloud version is a huge leap forward. Their customer support is INCREDIBLE. They are very receptive to suggestions and respond faster than any other developer. GREAT JOB. KEEP IT UP.
