If You Love Dragons, Get This Game
Like the title says, if you love dragons, this is a game for you. It does start out slow at first, like most games do, but after a few level-ups, it then picks up. The dragon designs are extremely cute and I love how they’re “designed” to help you carry out tasks on the farm. It’s also very easy to harvest everything at once by simply shaking your device a couple times. You can even breed your dragons to make new dragon breeds once you reach a certain level. I also like how you have to look for hidden chests while in the “main questline” in order to get more energy or coins and doing so increases how many stars you’ll get so it really puts your brain to work. The cooldown timers are reasonable and not ridiculously long like most games would be. The only thing you might be irritated with is how quickly energy gets spent, especially because the tasks use up an absurd amount of energy, but I really don’t mind that because that means I won’t be wasting my time with the game all day. Plus completing certain tasks back at home base can give you more energy but not a whole lot. Other than that, this is a really fun game that I highly recommend for anyone who loves dragons and light adventure games

Great game! Am pretty much addicted
First of all, the dragons are adorable and it has a cool storyline. I love seeing how the dragons change when they level up. A couple of things—it does take a LOT of energy to play through a section on the map. It takes even more energy to play through the special events. If you are not willing or able to shell out real dollars for more energy, you may get frustrated and rage quit. I do appreciate the new features from the most recent update and I’m impatiently waiting for the next update. An idea: since wood and rock are obtained mainly through map section play, why not open up the completed maps so that play can continue until the update is done? I would pay gems and coins to be able to go back to previous “islands” to use up energy and get stocked up on rock and wood and other items needed for the ship and production items.

Developers got greedy
I wish I could give zero stars. I have LOVED this game and have even dropped $ on a somewhat regular basis because I felt like there was a balance on being able to play the game with enhancing it by spending a little money. However, with this latest release I can only say that it’s apparent the developers got greedy. It used to be that you could play without spending a lot of $$$ but the latest enhancements ensure that to do anything in this game you have to spend money to do EVERYTHING. I’m extremely disappointed in the direction the developers have taken. I won’t be playing as much going forward AND NOW I WILL NOT SPEND ANY MORE MONEY…not going to be ripped off to play your game. Additionally, they do not even follow through on what they say in the game. Breed a dragon 5 times is supposed to guarantee a dragon. I just did a breed dragon 5 times and only got coins. They also said that to revisit old scenes would cost coins. You never could revisit old scenes and now it costs gems. I’m sick that I ever gave this game any money because it was all wasted. I’m deleting the app. The developers came out today with an apology to the players saying they over did it and only gave 50 lollipops, which is laughable. I hope their greed hits them hard in the pockets with losing users. This was no real apology and they are only backtracking because the players pushed back. Despicable.

Developer only cares about baseline
This is a game designed for those who are only willing to buy in order to advance. It has problems with refreshing when it adds special adventures and you will have trouble advancing little without making purchases. If you do make purchases and the game acts up and causes you to loose resources you’ve paid for the developers “Rein Technology Limited” will say they will look into it but in the end will do absolutely nothing about it. In the end their baseline means more than their players even when it comes down to a couple dollars worth of replacement items a paying player feels they’ve justly lost. The game only has 4 story charters with 5 Dragon Trails each so it shouldn’t take one long to play through the game as it stands. The game is designed to where you get certain resources through your dragons but a limited number of resources only through these Dragon Trails, some of which do not even contain some of the precious resources needed to complete the Trail Quest. So as a whole you will be deeply disappointed you wasted you time, effort and any money on a game developer only care about their “baseline” I give this game 1 star if that…..

Just started, but fun!
I just started, but the game is fun so far. Compared to other story/adventure/farming games it’s doing well. Unlike some, it’s got the bonus of letting you know exactly how much experience you have and is needed for the next level (unlike a lot of games), which matters to me at higher levels because I will actually know the bar is moving even if it doesn’t look like it. There have been lots of ways (so far) to gain energy, but that could be because I’m early in the game. The dragons are definitely adorable, but the story to get them bit on the… ahem, how do I put this? Good-intentioned colonizers and crazy treasure hunters? There are original inhabitants of the islands. You’re ‘Master’ and there’s a prophecy. There are treasure hunters and poachers. I’d love to be able to change how Cynthia looks, but I do understand that keeping her static is one less thing that can cause bugs. It’s a game and the story has villains and heroes alike, and I am, as I said, early in. We’ll see.

Fixing and support review
It’s not often I write reviews, but I do want to share my experience so far. Support will get back to you in 48 hours time.
My problem: There is constantly not enough room for new dragons until we level up to the next expansion phase. I want to use my new dragons but I can’t store the old ones. I contacted them about this problem.
Their response: It is currently not available, but we have sent the feedback to the developers.
My hope: I hope to take their word for it and that they implement a “storage” feature so that we can use the dragons we want even if we can’t get new dragons at the moment.
2nd case: I had gotten first place for one of the newer events in the ranking system. It was the one with the strawberry jam dragon. I didn’t receive my last dragon as reward so I contacted them about it.
Their response: Did not text me back, but they did give me my third dragon as their solution. This is what I’m happy about.
My look: The support is looking good and they seem to listen and exist. I’m keeping the review at 5 stars since they’ve fixed my problems and I am optimistic about the game. I wish the developers all the best and to continue with good suggestions.

Adore and definitely love dragons
I definitely love playing this game, but I do have one little issue and that is the spinning of the wheel to get gifts after watching the ad. My issue is that you have several gifts on there but one gift in particular is never granted which is the large amount of gems (88 gems). There is the coins, speed up time, speed up growth, and the low number of gems (8 gems) that is received all the time, but never does it ever land on the large amount of gems which makes me think that this part of the game (spinning wheel) is rigged so that we can’t further ourselves in the game without actually having to buy the gems just so that you all can have our money instead. I don’t have an issue buy things, but if you all are going to put something in as a potential gift to win, then you need to have it actually available to win instead of as a tease thinking that we will get but never actually get it.

Good, not great
This is a pretty fun game with lots to do. Breed dragons, merge dragons, feed dragons, collect resources from dragons. Build items, craft hats, play missions. There seems to always be some event going on with extra things to do.
A couple negatives. One, it’s energy-based, so you get about 10 minutes of story in before you’re left waiting for the meter to fill back up. Unless, of course, you spend a ton of money. Which I’m willing to throw $20 or so at a game I’m enjoying to compensate for the entertainment. But I’m not spending, nor do I have, a ton of money to throw at a mobile game. So there’s a lot of downtime.
Two, lack of chat options. There’s clans, and there’s a chat within a clan, but there’s no way to recruit a clan. There’s no way to message a chief to request access to clan. I spent several days requesting to join clans and never got approved. I finally just joined a lower open clan that didn’t require approval.

Fun, but….
I have enjoyed the game, it has problems. Ads regularly lock up and the only way out is to reboot your phone or open other apps and spend several minutes away from the game so it resets. Some adventures have ridiculously high energy requirements while others are more reasonable.
Be prepared to spend vast amounts of time acquiring wood. It is often the required item to get past a blockage and is doled out in very stingy amounts in Exploration. An hour might net you 15-20, but you need 25 or more plus what you need to complete items on the task board. This is a major complaint here and with my team.
It feels like the developers spend more time creating side events than finishing the story line. Constantly throwing week long events at us that have zip to do with the story. And don’t expect to win those events and the top prizes (which can benefit future game play) unless you are willing to spend some serious cash buying energy and stars. Winners regularly have very low advancement levels, but will have earned two and three times the number of points over most of the players.
Developers used to respond somewhat quickly to complaints through the in-game help, but that option has disappeared from the game. Seems like they were getting of the complainants.

Most expensive “free” game ever!
This game started with great promise. Although in game purchases were expensive at first, the game was still playable. With every update, the game gets more expensive and less playable. Unbalanced resources means you must buy extra just to progress. Dragon stamina is a constant problem, again with every update, the issue gets worse unless you’re willing to keep spending to restore stamina. Without spending money, your stamina is only enough for 3 moves. Max stamina is 88, cost 22-60 per move. Game support is the worst of any game I’ve ever played. Reaching out to support, you’re met with rude, condescending and often times nonexistent response. Make sure you video while playing. Items often disappear from inventory, and support requires screen shots of before and after the issue, or treat you as if you are the problem. Their “bottom line” is more important than player satisfaction. Don’t waste your time with this app. If you really want to play a dragon game, try MergeDragons!, much better choice, and less frustrating.
