BobDyckman,
Yeah, it’s pretty great
Yeah so I just got it and I’m already pretty enthralled by the whole thing.

The interface is surprisingly similar to that of Reddit’s, and is pretty intuitive, not to mention simple. In addition, navigating the app is simple. I could totally do for ‘writing a dream’ to have its own button on the bottom bar though, that would make a lot of sense. Also perhaps trying to make little dream communities, again, not unlike Reddit.

All in all, the power of the app rests in the social element. If the developers can figure out how to further streamline the interface, and really push the social aspect, I have no doubt this app will be here to stay, as it’s fairly niche if you don’t use Reddit itself.

That reminds me; in order for this app to be successful, it needs to distinguish itself from any Reddit dream page. There’s literally no difference otherwise, save for the app being more focused and convenient, although Reddit has a massive user base, and incredibly active community in virtually every subreddit. So, I would recommend, hold off on the premium until you get more users, which you could probably draw in with better interface design, unless of course, the premium thing is working well for you, which in that case, go for it.

Great, Simple, and Awesome Community
With other dream journals / dream journal apps I just feel like it’s either not enough to properly record my dreams or way too forced. But with this app I feel they don’t necessarily force anything on you (eg make you do a dream daily, etc) while still giving the option to record dreams in an organized yet not crazy way, meaning that I can easily write down my dreams when I wake up. I also found that by adding tags to the dreams (things you can do in the app) I can sort of ‘track’ what kind of dreams I’m having and when. Also there’s no set ‘outline’ for the dream so I can describe it, and even add things like little notes to myself (for example I dreamed about the titanic one night and had watched the titanic movie the night before. Later going over it I could see the obvious connection). You have the option to record your dreams as lucid dreams easily, as well as ‘adult’ / 18+ dreams, and you can make it public as well which allows for others to respond and make connections in your dreams that maybe you don’t see. It helps when others make insight as well, and overall the community is cool and it’s always neat to see other people’s dreams but at the same time again it’s not forced: you can choose to keep the dreams you post private if you want. I really like this dream journal, it’s free and best of all there’s no ads or annoying pop-ups or anything.
Xiileaf,
Nice, but Some Suggestions:
I quite like this app, and even started paying for it as of the AI Interpretation update. There’s an AI Image update that I’m not so sure of and personally don’t like all that much (and we don’t have transparency as to where the AI was trained yet—which is annoying as an artist myself). I would love to see functions that enable hiding/showing AI generations for each of a users dreams, or at least a master switch that controls every dream from one user so we can choose whether we want to see interpretations and/or images.

For example, I’d like a area in the settings where I can toggle a couple switches according to what interpretations or images I’d like to see, and what I’d like the public to be able to see. Ideally, there would be one switch for interpretations and one for images. If this was incorporated into the app, I would be very happy; these are definitely cool integrations, but not all of them are my favorite.

Thanks for providing a cool app for keeping track of dreams and continuing to update it. This is one of my favorite journaling(?) apps because of it.
ellaistired,
I love this app
I've been using this app to log my dreams since 2017 or so, and it's been great the whole time. I really like the interface and how easy it is to just log a dream and see all of the dreams that you've input. I don't really use the feature of reading dreams submitted by others, but I have messed with it before and I liked it a lot too. I am absolutely obsessed with the ai interpretations and photos it comes up with. It's insane how accurate the interpretations feel and how it references specifics I wrote about my dream and explains them in ways that make sense. It actually really helps me realize what I need to discuss in therapy during my sessions because the interpretations always hit so close to home and bring up things I didn't realize. I love this app and I will continue to use it and only it for my dreams for the future. Thank you for all your hard work in creating this app!
snapdragøn,
Love it, has potential for more features
This is a great dream journal app, simple and gets the job done. It’s best feature is definitely the dream wall.

I think the app has lots of potential for more features though that would really make it the best dream journal app out there. It would be interesting to be able to see stats, and I would love the ability to add the moods I felt and real life people I encountered in the dream to the journal entry. Another feature I think should be incorporated is the ability to follow users from the dream wall, even if users’ follower counts aren’t public or anything. Some people write down their dreams really well and have more interesting dreams than others.

Don’t get me wrong, I rarely make reviews and I’m a fan of this app. I’d just love to see more features.
Fugehirdgsfjg,
Lucid dreaming in 1 week
I haven’t had a lucid dream that I can recall in over a decade. Last night, after just using this app for about a week, I had a lucid dream. I have tried dream journaling with pen and paper before, but this app makes it much more convenient to do as soon as I wake up. I can tell that my dream recollection is improving. The reality check feature is something I was slightly skeptical about working, but it’s really great. In the past when I took an interest in lucid dreaming, I tried just questioning if I were dreaming periodically through the day. But if it just slips your mind (like it would while dreaming) it’s hard to get in the habit. The reality check feature takes care of that. I love this app and plan on using it for a long time! :)
StephanieFeelsTheBern,
Helps with lucid dreaming
I decided to download an app as it would be an easier way to journal my dreams. I also put a daily reminder in a productivity app to journal my dreams. Doing so daily is increasing my dream recollection to daily. I decided to try the “reality check” feature where every two hours my phone says “are you dreaming?” Of course I know I’m awake but I engage and ask myself the question and experience a momentary slight shift in perception. Well, after a week or two I have a lucid dream. I’m aware that I’m dreaming. I say it aloud. I look at my hands. I practice floating up and down. Floating up is easier. Floating down, there’s not much gravity to help, but I can make my feet touch the ground lightly and I feel the contact.
KidOfKingdom,
Great App for Dreams
I don’t usually do reviews, but this app is truly great. I know everybody says that, and some reviews are just ridiculous and you can tell the people are really undereducated. BUT I dream a lot and had not found a way to record my dreams that works for me until I found this app. You can put your dream down in your journal and go back and edit it later. You can add tags and find similar dreams. You can see other peoples dreams and help interpret them with likes and comments. There is a gold membership for $.99 a month, which I have not done yet and usually never do with apps, but I am seriously thinking about it, which is unusual for me. If you are a heavy dreamer, you WILL Love this app
MAYSONARNOLD,
Niiiiice!
So, I'm not much of a dreamer to be honest, and I rarely recall dreams that I have when I wake up...like at all. But recently, I've noticed (probably due to my messed up summer-sleep schedule where I stay up late and wake up late) that the last few days or week I've been recalling so much from my dreams and basically having several little dreams per night if not one big one. I've decided to record my new found dreams, and this app is the only free dream journal app that allows you to freely do so without limits. I'm hoping that I continue to have these dreams and get to fill out interesting entries each day.
bignikuber,
Porn infested
I downloaded this app years ago when I was probably 13, and it was useful until I got bored one day and decided to scroll through the dream wall. I originally had clicked hide adult dreams but I guess I had turned them back on somehow bc while clicking through dreams I stumbled upon straight up porn (and a lot of it too). I didn’t want to delete the app because all my dreams were saved onto it but eventually it got really tempting so I just deleted it anyways. I guess it was a decent dream app, but the notes app is just as good. Plus, I can see the adult dreams becoming a real problem for people who struggle with that, so I personally think it’d be good to delete certain users who literally just post porn.
