Description

GeoTagger is an easy-to-use tool that can be used to enrich photos with geo or GPS data.
Simply start GeoTagger during an excursion and record the geo data during the excursion.
After the excursion the photos can be conveniently and automatically enriched with the corresponding geo-data.
A total of 10,000 geodata can be recorded with GeoTagger. This is usually enough to be able to add geo-data to all trips of a 3 - 4 week vacation.
In addition, the metadata of the loaded photo can be displayed via GeoTagger.

If iCloud is available, the geodata will also be stored in iCloud. So the geodata can be recorded e.g. with the iPhone and then used on the iPad or Mac to tag photos with the geodata.
GeoTagger can now also be used under macOS. Here, however, the recording of geodata is not possible. Here, the geodata are loaded from the iCloud at startup.

imark77,
It works but needs improvement.
I finally got some new batteries for my old camera I’ve been itching to use it and I recently had a trip to Gettysburg that suddenly came up. I’ve also been wanting to try out Geo tagging my photos. So In the bus on the way there I put GPS photo tagging into the search and I came across to apps one that wasn’t and this one so I said let’s give it a shot. Battery life pretty good on my iPad Mini went most of the day with only one top up charge really needed. When I got back home I stuck the SD card into a card reader into the USB camera connection kit import in my photos and went to select all of them… You can only select one at a time I took 100 photos I painstakingly went through all of them it would be nice if they added a multi select function. Then you have to individually four step process select photo, search, OK, save, OK. It needs some sort of batch function but I was able to tag all of my photos. Unfortunately I have a few duplicates to weed out now as it seems to duplicate the photo and then move it to the top of the list which means you have to scroll back down to where you were and figure out what photo you were working on. There’s a few tweaks that could make this app really useful it has one thing it was pretty well it could be really better. It would also be nice for to incorporated some sort of export function so you can export your data and then import that to something else so on a computer and do batch processing. In the end I got some beautiful photos from my two megapixel camera that show their location on the map to all the various monuments, statues, fields, ceilings, weirs, electrical conduit‘s etc. that I took pictures of. Yes I know I’m weird. It was cold, it was windy and somehow I manage to not have either my phone or camera get blown out of my hands, and I avoided taking Too many blurry photo after I got used to the camera again.
