Statistically, 40% of the world's population suffers from one or more sleep disorders. Nine million people in the United States are medicated for these disorders, medications that produce from moderate to severe side effects. Moreover, some doctors compare sleep disorders to alcoholism because they severely diminish your performance. More relevance should be given to this problem because is more serious than we believed.
When you fall asleep in a state of tension, you wake up in a state of tension. From a yogic point of view, sleep disorders are nervous tension problems usually caused by the mind.
