Description

Turn your iPad or iPhone into a window aboard the International Space Station. Experience stunning views of Earth captured by NASA astronauts. Touch the views and control the planet with your finger. A truly amazing one-of-a-kind experience.

The app comes complete with seven beautiful interactive views of earth as well as access to the HDEV live view showing Earth live from the Space Station. In addition the app includes 8 relaxing ambient space soundtracks, a clock, and worldwide weather from Weather Underground.

Please note that the ISS HDEV live feed is often off-line or otherwise unavailable. Even when on-line, the live view often shows black as the ISS is regularly on the dark side of Earth.

Support for AirPlay on the iPad (4th gen, 3rd gen, and iPad 2), iPhone 5, and iPhone 4S. See display options in app for instructions on how to enable.

I just wanted to change my 5 start to 5 star+

I was written by Jenson Creative LLC about my concerns about the APP and for the first time I actually had someone write me personally about my concerns instead of like other most other apps seem to do with their auto responses to customers. It was very much appreciated and Thank You for letting me know basically what I was afraid was going on but that assurance that you all have been doing to the best you could with what you’ve got and sometimes circumstances are just very hard to over come. Thank You again for the quick feedback and I of course would help out if possible. I feel it should be education given out to people as well.

Outstanding atmospheric visuals

I’m a fan of both all things space and atmospheric ambient so this app really satisfies. I’ll often just park it on my phone and let it run on my desk while I’m working. Very seamless and reliable. I wish that they would add more clips but great as is. Nice work, Devs!

MASSIVE download

This app is a major storage hog. Took forever to download and takes up way too much space on my phone. Only a few of the videos are any good too. Why doesn’t it stream like every other app does? Not worth it - deleted

Beautiful and Hypnotic

First let me just say I'm running this on my iPad 3 and I've never had so much as a hiccup in the way of bugs or malfunctions. This is one of those really entertaining apps that also serves a practical purpose as well. Part screen saver, clock and weather tool all in one with a really fantastic audio component as well. It's a really fun and beautiful way to show off your iPad even when all it's doing is just sitting there, or while docked or charging. It's not only a feast for the eyes but the ears as well. The music is so good I would actually buy it separately. Ordinarily I'd say its worth between $2.99 and $5.00 bucks so it's a no brainer while its still free! You can't go wrong at that price. If for some reason it's not for you then just delete it.

Perfect!!

This app is beautiful especially for someone such as myself. I always have been a thinker and to have both of my favorites outer space and ambient music together on one app is what makes this app perfect! I only own the free version, and If you are just like me then I can strongly recommend this app for you.
This may sound funny but I think you even catch glimpses of UFOs passing by when your watching the auroras. Just saying!!!

It would look nice on my TV... ;(

I understand the business decision to create and release a separate version of this app specific to the new Apple TV, but I don't have to like it. To be honest I have gotten little use out of the iPad version and if they had updated it to work with my new Apple TV then I would have been likely to give it a much higher rating as the content would have been simpler to share with others... After all, It is sort of inherently a TV app. But, I see absolutely no reason to spend more money on this app that I already own. It's just not worth it to me. They will likely claim a technical reason (developers oftentimes do) but I doubt that greatly... This is a quite simple app and I have already seen other much more complex apps that I own made fully universal. So I am off to give those developers rave reviews, and my thanks for doing what I feel is the right thing.

Almost good

Sure it looks better on iPad but on appleTV it is far from HD. On appleTV the image is blurred and no great details. Live camera is worst.
Hope they will keep adding new videos because I have already watched them all many many times, I'm really anxious to fly over other parts of the earth. I love this view of the Earth from above, it really gives us the real perspective of the place we live in. The Earth is small enough to be easily destroyed. Watching the Earth from above make us think about how stupid we are, fighting, creating borders and thinking we are the masters. We can get our sense of ridiculous by simply understanding where we really are in this Universe.
