My best friend when posting photos on Instagram!
Since I found this app I have not had a problem of not having my photos appear properly in Instagram. I post pictures of my artwork so I like for the images to appear as I have drawn them, not as the app takes them from the camera. The ability to change the colors and textures of the fill in space is a nice touch as I can pick what will go best with my image! Thank you for this app it really makes a difference!

Great tool for posting 35mm scans!
I have a large collection of scans from 35mm slides and negatives that I am sharing on Instagram and Facebook to build brand recognition and drive traffic to my website. As these images were made long before Instagram was someone's wild dream, the originals weren't square. Easy Square is an easy to use, effective and quality solution that allows me to post images as-shot. I don't have to compromise image intent or content anymore. Wish I'd learned of it sooner.

A pleasant relief from so many photo apps that cram in a million features behind an inscrutable interface, this app does one thing, essentially, but it does it very well. Quick, intuitive, focused, and easy to use, it is an effective tool...which is what you need in a cropping/formatting app.

The app doesn’t work like it used to
Used to be a great app for sizing and different blurred features. Now, it doesn’t save directly to phone. You have a to go to other apps (like downloading the easy square image to camera+ and then save the image to camera plus...) or if the background of the photo you want an image instead, it brings you to App Store to review instead of what the actual feature. Pushes me away more and more from using this app

Does exactly what it says very easy to use. Used it with instagrams latest version and had no problem. Highly recommend it. Worth the money. Don't be discouraged by the bad reviews they must be using and outdated version of instagram.

Great must-have tool if you use Instagram
There may be other similar tools out there and I haven't really looked as I am very satisfied with EasySquare. I would like to see an additional feature that saves you place in Photos when you cancel the photo currently being worked on.
