Inspired by the rare Meazzi Echomatic 2, there is now a total of up to 6 individual delay taps, great for achieving rhythmic echoes of all kinds, including "that sound" of Hank Marvin and The Shadows. Of course you can do lots of crazy custom multi-tap delays as well.

still the best live dub delay on iOS
Great for live dub. The pitch changes with the delay time, like a proper old delay. Many apps get that wrong. Feedback control goes to way over 100%, allowing immediate self-generation. Works fine on iOS 11.

A real gem.
I've been sitting on this app for sometime now. I had a hard time figuring it out as it doesn't seem real intuitive (atleast to me) turns out that it is easier than it looks. There is a 10 minute video on the developers site that will get you up to speed real quick. (He also shows you how to optimize and clear apps from memory that i find myself showing people all the time) I love this app and shame on me for letting it sit for 3 months. I would suggest labels for the two dry/mix and feedback sliders located in the top middle of the controls. If you happen to have a recording interface on your computer and Irig cable, you should run an output into the Irig and headphone out back into your interface, to create an effects loop I've been getting some good mileage out of that as well. If you feel its christmas every time you see updates available on your AppStore icon then this guy is santy klouse!

A great effect sitting in the middle of the bus!
Echo pad has been around and steadily improves its feature set. I especially liked when the oil can delay came out. It somehow fit just right with a tune I was working on, doing a cool number on some percussion, and I was thankful then but never got around to saying it. It's almost too feature laden for me and I'm not bagging on the app at all, I just don't get around to all the automated parameter control and the use of the turntables for looping- I think...(probably would be handier than my slow process...) and the various other semi automated parameters and loopers. I think that since I have older hardware I have to make sacrifices and I really love a minimal interface that just has the capacity to do sonic mayhem and with echo pad you got yourself a modern bunch of SPX90's and then some - ready to tackle the subtle or armed for industrial music if you want to head that way! Thanks for the great app!

I look at this thing as if it's now a full fledged Kaoss Pad! Sound on sound, motion loopers, multi fx, recording...get the f@#% out of here! For something like $4?!?! If you use it with an interface like any of the ones he lists (I use an iO Dock) you're set.
This is the most cared for music app I've maybe ever had. Consistent updates and quality sound. Having experienced the early days of this app it's funny to compare to because it was always simple and still looks the similar but internally is basically unrecognizable and very capable. Truthfully the Koass Pad analogy is spot on, this may just be better bc it's not $300, does the same things AND, with an interface, has better ins/outs! Very happy with this app.

GREAT APP!
GREAT APP! Works great! Watching the tutorials first really made the app a pleasure to use! Contacted Christopher Rice in service when I had a question. He responded in like 15 minutes! Not only a great app, but the service was also five star worthy! The app gives you an echo/delay settings, plus a looper to record vocal or instruments over it's loop time through the built in mic. Or the IRIG MIC. See Listing. Great for quick ideas on the fly! Does have copy/paste options to move your audio to other accepting apps. And have only scratched the surface. Have no doubt that its features will only improve as the app grows up. Watch the tutorials and see how Echo Pad might work for you!

Amazing!
I can't say enough about this great delay, and the developer too. With all the different options for tweaking the tone of the repeats and adding effects like distortion and flanger, there is no end to the possibilities for experimentation. But I love it for capturing warm tape echo and bucket brigade analog tones too, not to mention pristine digital delay. What really blows me away is the developer's responsiveness. Not only did he write back immediately to answer questions, but the latest update added a specific feature I requested (tap tempo midi), which made an already great app even better. Get Echo Pad, you won't be sorry!

There is no app that gets as many feature packed updates as Echo Pad. This one is worth way more than the asking price. Regular updates with new features, effects, and improvements are the hallmark of this app.

Echo Pad is easily one of the most recommended apps for iOS musicians. It is easy on CPU, has a ton of effects to be tweaked, and can be used by both beginners and experienced users.
