Great Idea but no Customer Support
Update: I was finally contacted and after some initial confusion, everything was worked out and all of our podcast were added to the app. They have responded to emails and have improved their response times. If you are looking for Christian and theological podcast, the Edifi app is definitely something you should check out. Changing my rating to 5 stars
I absolutely love the idea of the app however, I have tried to contact the people at Edifi about 20 times and I cannot get any kind of response. Not even an electronic reply saying your message has been received. We have a number of podcast.

Poor Playback options
I appreciate the Christian community offered here, I even find the emails which have regularly popped up in my inbox intriguing and non too frequent or invasive but I don’t use the app for one very critical reason.
It offers no options to increase the playback speed. This day in age being able to scan an audiofile is popular given the tremendous amount of non essential verbiage. However for people with certain learning disabilities and fast brains/listeners like me it is essential. I get bored listening to Conversation at normal speed, my mind wanders and I find difficult to focus. When I can listen at one and a half to 2 1/2 patient even three times speed with slow talkers I can focus and learn more than I could at normal speed.
This app offers no function which allows me to do that and I’m pretty close to deleting it because most of the podcast I’ve listened to have slow speakers and I find it tedious and therefore uninformative and uninterested which is a shame because there’s some good contact here unfortunately people like me find it more cumbersome i’m looking for diamonds in the rough with a pic and shovel sans sifter. It’s just not worth my time.

Edifying and informative
I listen to one or two podcasts a day. Especially in my morning devotions. I need to hear world news from a Christian perspective because the MSM comes from a place of darkness and deception. It also gives me hope that there are like minded people who are praying and aware of the good news of Jesus Christ. I like that those podcasts fill my heart and soul but also have intelligent and creative minds. Every believer who has a podcast on Edify has a gift to share to the body of Christ.

I listen to lots of podcasts. Sometimes trying to find some thing or someone worth really listening to is difficult. This app brings everything together and it’s so nice to be able to choose from all these different wonderful Christian speakers.

Rick Warren unshakeable podcasts
So thankful this app is a available to me through my walk with Christ! I have used this every morning. I have especially found Rick Warren’s messages so needed in this time in our world, particularly the “unshakeable” series/study on the book of Daniel. Thank you for providing this app for me to grow and strengthen in my walk with Christ with so many needed resources!!!

Definitely Recommend
I have only had this app on my iPhone for about a week but so far it’s the most listen to podcast app I have and the content is appropriate and they offer podcasts for most denominations and a variety of topics, news, Bible studies and so much more!!! I give it 5 STARS and definitely recommend it!!!

Good app, bad screen formatting
The app is great…content is laid out well, and it has some solid stuff! But the app isn’t formatted correctly for the iPhone (mine is 13). It’s been the basic screen size since iPhone 10, so I’m not sure if it’s a one off - minor issue, doesn’t make it unusable. But it does make it difficult to navigate. Keep up the great work!

Politely Rude is the best Podcast 💕
I am in love with the Politely Rude Podcast with Abby Johnson and eagerly look forward to them. They are so informative and she has the best guests. I learn so much. And she always seems to have so much fun doing them - you feel like you’re there along with them. Her latest with Leah Darrow is absolutely hysterical! I’ve listened to it twice now!!!

Love Edify App
When searching for positivity, I find it easily. When I go to my Edifi app, I am especially enamored with the “heart in a drawer” podcast with Sarah Garringer she speaks in such a clear, concise and easy to understand way even her voice is coming. So glad to have found this on Edifi.
