If your school is contracted with Edsoma, upon login with a school specific code, you will see a face icon in the upper left corner that has your school assignment and more.
If you are not affiliated with Edsoma school program, this release will not impact you. However, we do urge you to update to the new 1.9 version to continue using Edsoma app smoothly without encountering possible technical glitches.

A great app to help kids learn how to read
I downloaded the Edsoma book for my 7 year old so he can read books during summer vacation. The cool thing is you can follow the action cursor to read any book and it will correct you if you miss pronounce the words. Better yet it provides you a reading report after each reading so you can track how your kids do in reading and what need to be improved. My son loves it!

Unique reading app!
This is such an unique app where the kids are not only able to read a lot of books but are also corrected if they mispronounce words. This app has high potential and can have more books in other languages or maybe even books for adults in the future!

About Time!
Finally an intellectual app that will actually help. We have been using this app for a couple of days now and i am quite impressed so far. My child is asking to read now since we downloaded this. I can’t wait to see the progress of using this app.

Questionable data practices
The App Store listing says no data is collected. Then you open the app and the first thing you have to do is agree to share data with them and Apple. Then I look at their privacy policy and wow! That’s a lot of data you are collecting. Something seems off given the store listing says no data is collected. Also, requiring a profile picture to register a free account seems wacky.

Doesn’t let me sign up
I downloaded the app and filled in all the info to sign up. When I press the sign up button it’s just a never ending magnifying glass on a book.
