Falls well short of being fit for purpose.
Screen is locked to portrait, so if you own an iPad with any of the usual keyboard or prop-up covers that hold in landscape, the app is useless and you have to use the web interface anyway.
There’s no synchronisation between the app on different devices and/or the web, so you’ll have to remember where you are, and re-navigate there each time.
There is no way to highlight or annotate text in either the app or the web viewer- these are basic essentials that even my 5 year old kindle can do.
Downloading is dire- it’s incredibly slow, and if it gets interrupted, the idiot app will start from the beginning again.
For a university that claims to understand the time pressures mature and working students are under, this is a very poor effort.
Imma give it a C minus - must try harder.
