Malachi Brinks,
Malachi Brinks’ App Review
This mood monitoring app is very impressive in multiple ways. This app provides you with a list of questions pertaining to your self and your mood (number of hours of sleep, level of anxiety, todays weight, and etc. This app also graphs your responses and allows you to grasp a full picture of the qualities that relate to your mood. This is very important because in my Psych 250 class we did an assignment where we had to record our mood and physical activity however, with this app it provides me with more variables that explain my mood which gives me more information to ensure that I have positive moods. This relates to my class material because it explain all of the different variables that measure or influence moods. Many of the variables explained on this app relate to the variables that were discussed in my Psych 250 classroom. These variables include anxiety levels, physical activity, hours slept, weight. And etc. This app can be very important as it can help people to understand what influences their mood and how to ensure positive moods.
k_ter,
Best I’ve Come Across
Every other mood tracker is unsuccessful at meeting my basic criteria - I can put in my own data points that translate to a graph (or yes/no, or scale - which all have visuals as well). It’s clear visuals that make a bar graph, point graph or tracked points and all of them line up based on date. You can look at last 30 days, this month or the calendar. This flexibility around adding my own data and translating it into an effective visual is great. I’m surprised this app is the only one that’s successfully done it effectively (in my mind, I’m like it shouldn’t be that hard!!).

Easy and enjoyable, well designed for bipolar (still great for just depression)

To customize tracking points you pay 99 cents a month, but it’s well made so I don’t mind paying it (and I’m not one to pay for apps)
Jb102wowsie,
Love the App - 1 thing needed to give 5*
I love the app and what you can track, both default and the additional trackers you can add. My only recommendation is that on the standard logging items (anxiety, depressive episodes, etc) that they would use a scale more like what bipolar therapists look at: a ten number scale. There are only 4 options - none, mild, moderate, severe. It is fine that this be the default but I would like the option to scale it differently, like a 1-10 scale. Being forced to use their scale makes it difficult to choose between mild and moderate when you feel somewhere in the middle This is a 1-4 scale and it is inaccurate if I pick mild when I am in the middle. Other than that it is a fantastic app. I used to do this manually on paper a long time ago and it’s a pain. This is easy, quick, it has a notes section to maybe explain reasons why you are in a different mood, and you can set yourself a reminder to do it.

Best App for Clinically Ill
i am not a doctor - but a patient. this app has been ground breaking for me. being a person with bipolar 1 disorder, keeping a mental log of what i’ve been experiencing has proved impossible - mainly due to psychotic features. emoods has presets for main symptoms of bipolar disorder and different methods of tracking them. upgrading to premium has proved exponentially helpful with features including creating your own tracking points, for symptoms more uniquely your own. emoods has helped me use consistent data to show how my symptoms, medications, and other tracked stimuli are all connected. my doctor has been more than grateful for my stumble upon this amazing app.
starcrysisooc,
This is what I needed; exactly
I was hesitant of this app because it didn’t have any apple health integration (though support says they are working on it). But it’s absolutely perfect for what I’m trying to track. All of the default tracking points are helpful to me, and I added a few more. I have a journaling app that logs mods with each entry, with tags and location, which is nice, but if I don’t journal for a day, a bit useless for my doctor. I do still journal with it though. All the other mood apps ware too cluttered with added journal stuff, or has too many things to track like Daylio. This gets exactly what I need done, and I have a big appreciation for it, it gives me a lot more insight into my mental health
Trent LastName,
Excellent
I’ve tried just about every mood tracking app, but this one is the best. I’ve been using it daily for 3 years now.

My favorite feature is tracking custom symptoms (for $1/month), which can be of whatever type you choose. For example, I track drinks per night as a numerical value, whether I’ve showered that day as a yes/no, and racing thoughts on a low-to-high scale.

There is also a diary component that is very handy. I can look back through my tracking points, find the date of an unusual value, and read the diary entries from that day to remember what affected me. Extremely helpful for understanding my emotions and reactions. And you can lock the app (also included for the $1/month) so that you don’t have to worry about anyone ever reading it.

Tracks medications very well also. Highly, highly recommend this app to anyone with a mood disorder especially, or any other issues or even if you’re healthy but would like to understand yourself better.

I hope this helps someone. You’re not alone.
Sugukui,
Great Diary Card App! Love Dark Mode
I’ve been in dbt therapy for a year or so now, and for most of that time I’ve used a different dbt app. However, since I usually do my diary card at night and there wasn’t a dark mode on it, it was really straining to do it every night. That’s why I decided to try this one out and it’s even better than I could’ve imagined. While I needed to pay to get full access to the features I needed, I had to do that with the other app too, so it wasn’t a turn off. The only issue I have with it is that i meet with my therapist weekly and they don’t have an option to send a log of just the last week of entries. Maybe that’s something they can add, though!
turnipthefroot,
Fantastic
this app is so great for tracking things in general! i have BD and ADHD so it’s really helpful for both tracking my mood but also things like washing my hair and laundry, stuff that’s based on time (which i’m not good at processing). i even became a patreon member because i like it so much which is rare for apps. it’s ~$10 for a year and the custom tracking points were a game changer. the reminder function is a little weird right now but i use my phone’s reminders anyways, the developers might want to check that out. overall it’s a really great tool and i’m really glad i downloaded it.
Cbeck0016,
By far the best app available
Thank you to the developers for making a beautiful, easy to use, ad-free app. This is 100x ahead of any other mood tracking apps available. Also love the graphing feature so see how my moods are over the course of the month.
The best part is, it only takes less than a minute to record your results each day, and you can also write notes and other information regarding meds, weight etc. This app has been so useful for me and my psychiatrist/therapist in treatment and I can’t thank the developers enough. Been using over a year now
I don't give nicknames,
The simplicity changes my life
My therapist has been asking me to mood chart for years & I’ve never been able to get myself to do it. Every app has been too complicated & i get overwhelmed. It’s hard enough to form a habit but especially when it’s stressful.
This app changed that for me. Ive successfully been able to charting for almost a month now & before it was a miracle if i did it 2 days in a row. You have to pay a few dollars to add your own aspects to track, but it’s been so worth it for me. Thank you for making an app that works with neurodivergent minds like mine!
