Just Like The Good Ol’ Days!
I love this game very much! Reminds me of the countless hours of playing the “Caesar” series back in my college years! It used to be that I’d download an rpg game just so I could build the cities. I wasn’t interested in the battles, etc. I just wanted to craft & build. Finally I’m able to do just that 🙂 Thank you all for doing such great work! 🏆

Great game, one big issue
I downloaded this game, seeing that the reviews were good (besides the warehouse storage cap which I already saw was an issue only some people were having, and just thought it was a playstyle thing. I went on the game, and thought it was fun. I started working on the Coliseum, built houses and roads, and it was a fun time. Well, the warehouse storage cap came in. Because of the resources you need to get the coliseum tokens, as well as upgrading it and the other buildings, the low warehouse cap was getting to me. It was so annoying, having all of the supplies I needed to upgrade buildings, but not being able to fit them in my warehouse because of the storage cap. Then, I realized something. The materials that are needed to upgrade the warehouse can only be gained from things like the daily bonus, leveling up, or gems. Gems can get you them with no effort, but you also get them through daily rewards and leveling up. However, the easiest way to get gems is by shelling out money. The developers clearly decided to add the warehouse cap so you would pay for gems to increase it since it made the game more annoying. I know you make money off of this, but it makes the game actively worse. I know you probably won’t listen, but REMOVE THE CAP. PLEASE.

It was all right in the beginning, just like most other city building games. Then a little while through it was the warehouse capacity that really screwed the fun out of this game. I understand the need to spend money to make things happen faster, but the warehouse gets capped at such a low quantity, it’s ridiculous. When I’m bored I just want to pick some materials, stock them up, and slowly produce, I mean there’s nothing else to do besides collect materials when you’re just swapping between games to kill time. But because it gets capped so quickly, you can’t even do that.

Warehouse capacity is fun killer
Good game good pass time to play at slow pace. I even spent a total of 10$. However after reaching lvl 30 two things happened. It does get complex and rote repetitive with production items requiring 2 levels of production chains. On top of it The warehouse quickly become a major limitation. The devs don’t learn. People will spend money if you make the game fun Not the other way round. Why is clash of clans still running on my phone after 5 years. 10$ should have been enough to earn me a long running fun imagine if millions of satisfied long term fans pay this amount. Took me a second to uninstall.

Entertaining…reminds me of sim city
Cute little game. Entertaining. Easy to get used to. Make resources to build what you need for your city and keep your citizens happy. The resources you need for events and expansion are time consuming to earn and drops are slim. The game design encourages purchases in order to advance.

Good resource allocation challenge
This game has very nice graphics, a good mix of resources at the various levels, and a trading port that adds an extra dimension of flexibility. If you don’t need to conquer another civilization, give Empire City a try.

Unclassy app design
The game forces you to be online to start the app, so it can download "updates" (why don't you use the app store for updates?? Or maybe these sneaky downloads wouldn't get approved in the app store? Hmmm), And then there is the exact same excruciatingly long tutorial as every other city building game, with blandly drawn characters telling you how excited they are to welcome you to their town, and then explaining how to play the game as if you've never played any mobile game ever before in your life.

The Thing I would change or maybe add on is an inventory where you can add your buildings into so you can fix up the road or whatever just to make it a little bit easier but other than that pretty good game a lot of grinding on it

Good Game
Game is great so far. I’d love the ability to pick up all buildings and roads so we can try different city layouts. Picking up one building at a time is tedious and takes way to long.
