Fun little finger game, mechanics are tricky at first, but soothing and satisfying once you get it right. Initially the ads were largely an option to boost your performance and supplement your rewards. Then things got ugly.
Currently, there is a banner ad on-screen, largely static and possible to ignore. And too, impossible to ignore, is a video ad playing in a square occupying something like 15% of your screen outside of the static banner ad. This is the nightmare implied in a very prescient Ready Player One.
Much as I want to see how destructive my blasts can become, I’ll be wiping this game off my phone. Better they had offered an option to kill ads for a one-time $3 than this. Enough people would have paid. I might have, in time. Now? The game is a billboard, not an interactive experience...
