My go-to app for all things Vodou
This app has been on my iPhone ever since its release. It is packed with accurate, straightforward information on all things Vodou—from its traditional origins in Africa to its contemporary beliefs and practices in various forms throughout the world. It includes an extensive Glossary of Vodou terms and a well-curated Resource section for further reading. I highly recommend this app for anyone seeking deeper insight into the spiritual beliefs and practices of Vodou.
TECHNICAL UPDATE: Erzulie’s has provided excellent, responsive technical support for this app. They worked directly with me and Apple to identify and quickly resolve a touch misalignment issue on iPhone Plus series phones. iPhone Plus users are now able to enjoy all this fine app has to offer!
NOTE: Erzulie’s is aware that the Search feature in the Glossary section is not working properly. They are working on it and I will update my review once that last bug has been resolved.

Truly Authentic
New Orleans is my favorite city and I always make a point to stop at Erzulie's while I'm there. It is definitely among the few truly authentic emporiums of this fascinating religion to exist in the Crescent City, so I figured I'd give the app a try. I was nervous because I figured a small business like might have an app that was subpar but I should have known better with Erzulie's. They are definitely the best branded shop in NOLA (Voodoo or otherwise) that I've seen, and I have years in the advertising world to know, so I should have known how great the App would be. It is gorgeous, functional, and has truly authentic information on this ancient faith that was brought to the new world by slaves who dared to keep their truth even when it had to be hidden. Erzulie's opens the gate to authentic Voodoo, both as practices on the island nation of Haiti and in New Orleans. There is information about ceremonies and customs, as well as an extensive list of the Lwa (spirit intermediaries) of Voodoo. There is history, culture, and wit. Whether you just want to learn a little about what Voodoo is (and isn't), or you feel you may be called to this deep-rooted spiritual path, get this app. I rarely write reviews, but this rocked.

Erzulie's delivers once again! I'm a long time customer and have frequently visited the store in the French Quarter. This app has all the beautiful artwork that we are used to from Erzulie's. High quality and easy to use, a feast for the eye and voodoo curious mind. Jam packed with voodoo information and spells! All you need to know to perform the spells and rituals is in the app. Besides spells, there is lots information about the lwa, voodoo beliefs, practices and terms. I would go for the full version of the app, totally worth it for all the extra information!

I was thoroughly impressed with the visual appeal of this app. It is highly informative and a very easy to navigate. I would like to see some linking back to the store. Maybe as you enter the spell section it could provide a shopping list connected to an order form so that items may be purchased directly. Regardless for anyone interested in this subject, this app is a must.

This is a great app for anyone interested in The Voodou religion, its practices, beliefs, and history.
