Great meeting, SLOW app
ESA is a great meeting, also for virtual attendees. The app is well designed but very slow (wireless connectivity is excellent).

Major downgrade from previous version
I know they keep trying but ESA has yet to make a decent schedule app. The previous version I used for the 2019 meeting was hard to use because the schedule was so small, but at least it was functional. The current one for 2022 is almost useless: after spending a lot of time picking out individual talks, in your personal schedule it shows each full session where you selected a talk as part of the schedule, not the individual talks. The rooms also aren’t shown until you click through to the talk list for the session. Most people bounce around between rooms, so it’s very unhelpful. You basically need to export it on the website and print it on paper.
