You disturbed their eternal slumber, you evoked their vengeful wrath, now you must Escape from Doom! Transported back in time to Egypt during the treasure-hunting craze of the 1920s, you barely escape from a crumbling tomb only to find yourself surrounded by the mummified guardians of the stolen treasure. Will you escape with your life? Or join the ranks of the dead? In this endless runner and first-person shooter mashup, it's up to you to run as far as possible before succumbing to their ceaseless chase. But the power is in your hands! Collect emeralds during your escape to purchase useful weapons and upgrades, like the dual revolvers and crossbow, which will turn the odds in your favor. Accomplish goals to unlock even more perks! The more you play, the farther you'll run! It's an action game of high adventure right at your fingertips: run, dodge, and shoot your way through savage sandstorms and dusty temples. But be careful, in the cursed desert the treasure hunter is the hunted!

Outstanding and Entertaining
Great game that draws you in and keeps your interest. Simple controls great graphics. TWO SUGGESTIONS : Make it easier to move side to side. And you need to come up with more achievements and more perks or weapons to unlock. It helps to keep your attention with things to strive for. Great game very fun.

Addictive but Frustrating
After 30,000+ m, I thought Id post a review. At first the game is highly addictive, but it becomes frustrating. The strafing seems pretty responsive on my phone, but the firing is not at all. I find myself practically putting my thumb through the screen trying to get a bolt or bullet off when you need to at the last second. Seems too fast paced for unresponsive firing. Also, targeting would be better with a crosshair or something. Its almost like closing your eyes and hoping you hit your mark. Some of the goals are a little ridiculous too, but wouldn't be if firing was quicker. Other than that, the graphics, music and sound are cool, well-fitting the game with an eerie atmosphere.

Great game it was removed Apple put it back very happy about that I would like to see more weapons and achievements to unlock as well as being able to get your data back if u delete it one more thing make it easier instead of one place insane cause when it gets insane it lags but other than thanks awesomeness I suggest this game for anyone interested in shooting mummies in running mode

Pretty good.
I'm getting sick of developers who can't seem to remember to have their game auto-rotate. You do remember that they're portable devices don't you? It's like developers who want you to connect to the internet every time you start the game Yeah, that works well on the bus. Great graphics and a nice interface. It plays well and is a lot of fun .I'd like to play with my headphones in, but without the screen rotating the headphone jack rests in my hand. That's not comfortable. please update and I'll re-rate.

Good but not great
The concept is excellent and the graphics on my iPad 3 are pretty good. The lack luster function in my opinion are the controls. They do not respond as well as I would think they would and I understand that the character is running but there seems to be slow reaction between the running and changing direction. If this was better I would give it four stars, in app purchases to win the thing is just crap all around.

Tries to combine a running game with 1st person shooter
The game is very linear and you can't change much, but it still has bugs which makes a two star rating generous.
When you shoot, there is no aiming or anything that tells you you've killed a mummy. (Some require more than one shot.) and the worst is that the game lags mid run so you may be able to avoid some mummies, but the game is lagging and screwing up controls.
It was fun for about 5 minutes.

Dear developer, can you please update
So that we can continue to play this excellent game with gorgeous graphics and highly fun gameplay. Lots of guns to choose from and many different types of mummies to kill. Really fun. Try it out

Escape From Doom
I really like this game, but the mummies don't run right sometimes. There is a bug or glitch on how they rise from the ground. I really think this game has great potential, but these problems should be fixed, please. I would be more than glad to write a better review if these issues are fixed.

Very good game!
Working very very fast without lag on my iPhone 4S but graphics not good enough. Please make better textures and more polygons and more interiors and stuffs and this game will be Awesome!

I'm not a huge gamer but this one was worth the download! It's a great game with a great throwback to mummies!!! It's fun easy and addicting! The graphics and sound are stunning and I love this game so much!
