Perfect flow of clues and solutions. Very zen to play.

Nakayubi offers a long list of wonderful escape games. ‘2018’ is not bad, but it is one of their least enjoyable offerings...
Mind you, i am american. Some japanese traditions, practices or items just don’t translate well. [ie i was not familiar with the slotted box behind the dogs, nor the inventory item that would correlate].
I also gave a low review because at least one of the puzzle solutions simply did not make sense to me. Usually if i end up taking a hint, i will slap my forehead and feel stupid that the answer didn’t occur to me! In this case, even after i saw the answer, i could make no sense of it.
I still recommend this entire series of games however. The characters are freaking adorable, puzzles are generally clever and straightforward.. some of the best free gaming you could possibly ask for!

One mistake
There’s a scene relying on colored heads and their order for a date. When you use the colors in the game you can’t solve it. The hint solution reveals that two of the head colors are switched. We see them in a certain order but the programming has two of the colors switched. The red and white are switched. Only by using the solution can you finish the game.
